Chapter 1 LETS GO!!!!
Don't forget to vote <3—
Well, well," Yui's ears perked up when she heard a familiar voice and looked up. Miyuki Kazuya stood in front of her, hands in his pockets and looking at the others who were standing on the stairs."Whats with the gathering of the all-stars?"
He paused to call their names.
"Carlos from Jonan Senior League. Shirakawa from Marugame Senior League. Yamaoka and Yabe from Takahika Senior League—"
Miyuki paused to take a glance at Yui who waved before looking back at Mei who sat at the stairs with a grin on his face. "—And most importantly, Chizue Yui."
"Did you call them all here, Mei?" Miyuki questioned.
Mei grinned in response. "Yup! And you too, Kazuya."
Mei quickly resumed speaking. "If you come with me, I can form my ultimate team." He stated with a resoluteness in his voice. Miyuki idiotically laughed at this. Man, he thought, this was interesting. After all, he hadn't seen everyone in such a long time and here they are, all gathered together in front of him. He found this more amusing than shocking.
"I don't really care if you're not the catcher," Shirakawa said. "But Narumiya wants you."
"Inashiro invited you, too. Right, Kazuya?" Mei continued. "So why don't we make the ultimate team? If we all get the on the same team, we could take the nationals."
"Inashiro's coach has a lot of experience under his belt, and they have the best equipment in Tokyo." Carlos agreed with Mei. Miyuki was an important role in their teamwork as he was the catcher, and an amazing catcher at that.
"Not to mention, you wont have to play against Narumiya." Shirakawa said. "You're in too right, Kazuya Miyuki and Chizue Yui?"
Hearing her name mentioned, Yui frowned. But she didn't say anything. Instead, Miyuki spoke.
"I'm sorry but I already got an invite from Seido a while ago. I cant join you guys."
"Huh?! Are you being serious right now?!" Yabe yelled. He couldn't believe it. Inashiro was an amazing school plus they had all these top players here right now. Mei stood up, shushing everyone.
"Seido huh?" He paused like some main character in an anime. They've only gone to the nationals once since their old coach quit. Compared to what Coach Kunitomo has achieved, Coach Kataoki is just way too green."
Miyuki shyly scratched his neck.
"Well, its not that. Inashiros a team with a bunch of all-stars like you guys, right? So..."
Miyuki looked up daringly, a flame igniting is his eyes. "I want to face you as an opponent." Not to mention, the male wanted to see how far he could go with experiencing new plays, but he wasn't about to tell them any more than he had.
The others were stunned at his rejection.
However, Mei just grinned to himself. He wasn't shocked at all. Why? Because this was the Kazuya he knew. Despite being in an underdog team, he was always thinking of ways to take down his opponents. And thats what Mei liked best about him.
"Kazuya!" Mei called to him. "I'm going to ask you one last—"
"Sorry. No."
Miyuki shut him down again, smiling innocently. He had already made up his mind togo to Seido after all. Mei moved back, realizing this and turned to Yui.
As a lead strategist and manager, Chizue Yui was the best among the best. Not only was she able to accurately make predictions about how the game would flow, her predictions were spot on. Because of this, she was scouted by many famous schools but she rejected all but one.
"I'm not joining you either," Yui chimed in. "Sorry Mei but I'm planning on going to Seido as well."
As if he was expecting that response, Mei grinned, seemingly excited. "Then I guess I'll see you guys at Koshien."
Yui and Miyuki grinned.
"Of course!"

Remembering that day made Yui miss the others. After that day, she moved to America and lost contact with the others. She was unable to speak to them and as a result, developed a feeling of longitude for them, especially Miyuki and Mei. Scratch that, she deeply missed those two idiots.
"Tokyo Central Station. I repeat. This is Tokyo Central Station."
Tokyo weather was warm and sunny, and Yui felt comfort in that. She always thought that New York was too cold of a city to be living in, and missed living in Tokyo, where her friends, family, and most importantly, where the warm weather was.
Yui walked out the train with her suitcase and scanned the area for a certain male. "Oh, there he is."
"Oi! Baka-mura!"
The male turned around, sign in hand that said 'Here to pick up Chizue Yui' in bright, bold letters.
Oh god.
Regretting calling him over, Yui turned away to ignore him as he stampeded over to her. He was yelling her name along the way, like an idiot.
And Yui didn't do well with idiots.
So when he was within her arm range, she lightly karate chopped the back of his neck. However he seemed unfazed.
"Ohhhh! WELCOME BACK YUI!" Sawamura yelled. "I MISSED YOU!!" He was ecstatic that she had came back. Yui grew an irk mark and clonked the back of his head again.
"Shut up, Baka-mura!"
His head rolled forwards and he teared up. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR-"
"Hai, hai. Just bring me back to your house already. I'm tired okay?" Yui started rolling her suitcase away and Eijun followed suit. Yui smiled to herself as he sped up and cracked jokes to keep Yui elated.
"OHHH YOU SMILED—"
"Like I said, Shut up already!"
