So, a couple days passed. It's Friday now. I only saw Riley at school and she tried to make it all better, but let's be honest...it's me we're talking about. She said that I should come over but I would always make excuses.
I'm sitting on my bed just thinking and suddenly I feel my phone vibrating. Riley texted me.
"Bay window. Bay window RIGHT NOW!!"
"Is he home?" I text back.
"No, just hurry up"
I haven't been at Matthews for about 3-4 days now and t be honest..I really miss it.
"I'll be there in 10" I text back.
~At Matthews~
Of course I come through the bay window and there she was. Riley. With her big brown eyes and a huge smile on her face.
"Hey riles" I said as I came in and sat next to her
"Mayaaaaa" she said excitedly and she hugged me. Right afterwards she closed the window and she took the keys and put them in her pocket
"Riles..is there something you want to tell me?" I ask her suspiciously
"Oh nothing peaches, you know I love you" she said with a smile and continued "I'm just thirsty. I'm gonna go and grab a cup of water. I'll be right back." She said and rushed to get the water. At least that's what I thought. I was looking around the room and suddenly I heard someone coming in. And it was Joshua Matthews. We stared at each other for a second and then we just heard door close and lock.
"Riles" I screamed as I was having slowly dangerous and frustrated look. I rushed to the door frustrated and I clapped on them for a few times.
"You guys need to sort everything out. I'm going to Lucas and my parents are at Auggies school play" said Riley and she went through the door. I went back and I sat on the bay window clearly frustrated. "We need to talk" Josh said
"I have nothing to talk about" I said not even looking at him
"Look. I know your mad" Josh continued "but I fell in love with her..I'm sorry" I look at him and say "It's okay.. people leave me. I'm the one who should say sorry to you. I've wasted your time on nothing. And clearly mines too"
"Well it doesn't mean I'm gonna be with her forever...I'm just with her right this second" Josh said and it sounded like he's sorry
"Yeah.." I said and I felt my phone buzz.
I got a text and it was from.....
