Kate floats on her piece of debris, trying to move as little as possible to conserve energy. Her eyes close and she dozes off. A bit later she feels a jolt as the debris hits an island, she sits up while rubbing her eyes and looks around. She sees the island and leaps up excitedly
"h-holy shit!" She yells raspily, stumbling off of the debris to see what the island has to offer.
She notes that there are numerous coconut trees and continues walking to try to find a source of water. Her arctic fox ears flick as she hears rustling in a bush nearby, so she continues walking faster assuming that it is the islands natural animal life. She notices a small stream flowing up from the ground and runs towards it tripping and landing face first in the water. She happily starts drinking it, drinking as much as possible before having to come up for air. As she is going in for another drink when she hears sudden thumping getting closer to her before a loud slapping noise and a sharp stinging sensation in the rear. She turns around quickly to see the one person she hoped didn't make it, Davis.
