I have to admit I didn't expect much of anything from the new house but when we got there I was shocked. It was so tiny. It all made since though. Afterall It would only be two people living there now.

It was a litle green house up on top of a hill. There were a few other houses down the road but not as close as the big red house, triple the size of my new "house".

Mom stepped out and put her hands on her hips, she took it all in than turned to look at me. " Well watcha think?" She asked. I looked at the little house and shrugged. Nothing would ever compare to where we once lived.
Mom looked a little disappointed at my response, neverless she slapped on a smile and asked me to help unpack. That shouldn't take very long I thought to myself.

I threw my bookbag over my shoulder and grabbed a box from the trunk labeled "Ethans stuff" in thick black sharpie. The box wasn't titled Ehtan's clothes or Ethans books it was just stuff because all that I owned fit into this box.

I was anxious to get into my own room, my own space especially after being cooped up in a little suv with my mom for 8 hours. So anxious that I didn't realise that my mom was talking to someone. Not until I went to open the door and dropped the box spilling everything in it. I panicked because i didn't want my mom to see that I still had some pictures. I wouldn't know how she'd react to them. I shoved everything back inside the box when i realised something was missing. A family photo.

I tore threw the box and looked all around me, it wasn't anywhere. I couldn't have lost it, no I need that. A shadow came over me and I looked up from where i was kneeling. Standing in front of me was a girl with long, dirty blonde, curly hair, and that girl was holding the picture.

She looked and smiled at me than opened her mouth as if to say something. But before she could say anything I grabbed the photo out of her hand and stormed inside slamming the door behind me.

Who was that? And who did she think she was taking that picture?

I walked though the living room and into the hallway, two bedrooms. There were only two bedrooms.

It made me sick to my stomach.

I picked the room at the end of the hallway. Farthest away from my mom when shes not in her bedroom. I went to turn the door knob and looked down at it. All these little decals were carved into the cold metal. Who would take all the time to carve all the little details when someone would just forget about it anyways.

I threw the box on the floor closed my door and slid down onto my floor. I thought about my mom and i just wondered how could she ever want to forget something so beautiful.

Ok hi so i know this ones a lot longer and well maybe not as good as the other one but i just felt inspired today lol. Pls five me feedback I really appreciate it!!! Thank you💛
