I miss her, so much. We used to be one big, happy family, Leo, Jain, and I. We had a barbeque that I frequently prepared our dinners on, a swing set outside from when Jain was younger. She used to love playing on the swings.
One day, she just disappeared, not a trace left. We wanted to report to the authorities, we really did, but we are not her true parents. We are her legal guardians, yes, but the number of documents fraudulently forged to get her into our custody was too much. We could never bring it into the eye of the law, or the scrutiny would reveal our secret.
We gave her such a wonderful life, but it was time for her to move onto her next family. I do hope she makes it there safely, but we can never check on her. I love her, but sometimes she fails to find her way. I am afraid she will be lost.
