Chapter 8 - The Strange Dream Connections

I was bed ridden for a whole week and wasn't allowed to do anything, Michael basically locked me in my room and occasionally dragged me out to watch a movie in which I ended up crashing on tge couch which for the first time in ages he kicked his sorry ass of and let me have. Today was the second last day of my bed ridden week. I was sleeping well, reading in bed when I heard a knock at my door.

'Yus?' I asked thin air.

'Can I enter your room?' I knew that voice.

'Sure.' I put my book down to see Ashton standing at the doorway. 'Hi Ash.' I smiled.

'Hey...are you feeling okay?' He asked me. Well let's see my stomach was still sore but healing and I still tasted blood and I had a massive headache...and to top it all off I keep having this weird dream about Alice In Wonderland which always ends in me seeing Luke and Michael calling my name. But besides all that yeah I feel just peachy.

'Yeah..I feel fine.' I smiled.

'I was wondering...if you possibly...I dunno...wanted to come down to the lounge and watch a movie with me? Michael left me here with you so what do you say?' I thought about it.

'Sure Ash...what movie?' I asked as he helped me up and down to the lounge.

'I was thinking something along the lines of Frozen or Tangled..what do you think?' He askef me and I just sighed and rolled my eyes.

'Wow Ash....really?' He nodded. 'Okay then I wanna watch Monsters University before we watch one of them.' I smiled and he trudged his way over to put Monsters University on. We watched tgat then we watched Frozen and we sung along to every song before Michael, Luke, Calum and Leah got there plus Emma.

'Are you two okay?' Emma asked reading the boys and Leah's minds.

'Course.' Ashton laughed.

'What on earth are you watching????' Calum asked.

'FROZEN!!' Ashton and I jinxed, which only led to more laughing.

'Oh my god....' Michael sighed.

'What? Ever heard of releasing your inner child Mikey?' I asked.

'Frozen. It had to be fucking Frozen.' Michael sighed.

'Hey in all honesty she made me watch Monsters University first.' Ashton put his hands up in a defensive way.

'Yeah we believe you. April...doc called. You need to go back and Luke offered to take you.' Leah said.

'Okay.' I put my hand out so someone could help me up anf Luke did just that. He even carefully walked me our to his car and drove us to the hospital.

'Are you okay? You don't look to good.' Luke said with concern in his voice.

'No. My stomach still hurts kinda,  I can still taste blood occasionally, I keep getting these massive headaches and I can't sleep because of these dreams.' I sighed. Even with the kind of relationship Luke and I had I could always tell him the truth.

'What kinda dreams?' Luke asked. I sighed.

'I keep dreaming about this world...I am dressed like that chick in Alice In Wonderland and that's what it looks like too...and then it twists into this strange hall with you and Michael calling my name.' I said and Luke stopped the car.

'That's really strange because my dreams are pretty similar. Maybe we should consult the doctor.' I nodded at his idea and he drove of again in silence. We arrived at the hospital and I was all clear to go.

'April you are perfectly fine...is there anything else?' Luke and I shared a look before looking back at the doctor.

'Actually yeah..just one quick thing. What do know about connected dreams?' I asked.

'Why what is it?' He asked.

'Well I am having this dream and it ends the same way and Luke says that his are sorta the same. Can you explain?' I told him.

'That usually only happens when someone is extremely close to a certain someone and that person is going to be in danger.' I w a s extremely confused. 'Who was having these dreams first?' I looked at Luke.

'Mine started after the accident.' I said

'After Michael and her fought.' I sighed remembering that event. 'Which was before.'

'How do the dreams end? ' The doctor directed to me.

'With him and Michael calling my name.' I said.

'April.....I fear you are in danger my dear.' He sighed and I was shocked.

'Danger?'
