LJ - Abandoned and found

LJ's POV

I cry and sniffle softly. I was at an old and abandoned carnival. I was abandoned by who I trusted most.... It was cold and I was shivering. I heard footsteps...... A person?

Y/N POV

You walked through the woods, sighing as the cold air nipped at you. You hear small sobs... You stop walking, peering from the trees to see a small boy. You walk towards him.

"Hello?" You ask. The boy immediately turns around and backs away. He looked as if he were about 10 to 13 years old.

"Are you okay?" You ask.

"Please don't hurt me.." He says. He was shaking. And you knew it wasn't from fear.

"Come here, please." You say gently. Hesitantly, he does. He gets up and walks towards you. You smile softly at him.

"I'm Y/N."

"... L-LJ... Short f-for Laughing Jack.." He says quietly.

"Are you all alone?" You ask. He nods with a small sniffle.

"You're gonna catch a cold out here. C'mon.. I can take you back to my home." He looks up at you.

"O... Okay!" He says, gaining a bit of courage. You grab his hand and lead him to your home where EJ, Jeff, Toby, Masky and Hoodie were. You open the door.

"I'm back!" I call.

"Hi mom!" Toby calls from the kitchen. LJ nervously stood behind me. EJ runs downstairs.

"HELP MEEEEEE!!!!!!" The young boy screeches. Masky comes downstairs.

"I SWEAR TO GOD I'M GONNA- Oh um..... Hi mom?" Masky says. EJ was hiding behind you.

"He's trying to kill me!" The 7 year old says.

"You took my cheesecake!" Masky huffs.

"Okay, both of you, stop it. Apologize to each other." You say sternly. They sigh.

"Sorry..." They mumble in unison.

"Better."

"Who's t-that?" Toby asks, emerging from the kitchen with a plate of waffles.

"Ah, right! This is LJ. He'll be staying with us."

"Oh. Okay!" Toby says. He trots upstairs, Masky following him. Jeff comes out of the kitchen, soaked.

"What happened?"

"Toby dumped water on me.." Jeff huffs.

"Tobias Erin Rogers!!!!" You yell. LJ continued to stand behind you, holding onto your arm. Toby walks downstairs.

"Yeeees?" He asks.

"Did you dump water on Jeff?" Toby freezes.

"Um.... No?" He tries.

"Toby..."

"Ugh. F-Fine. Sorry." Toby huffs, then walking back upstairs.

"Children, I swear..." You mumble. LJ giggles. You smile and pat his raven black hair. Hoodie walks downstairs.

"Hi mom." He mumbles, walking past you and into the kitchen.

"OW!" You hear about 3 seconds later.

"Who the heck dumped water onto the floor?!?!" Hoodie yells.

"Toby." Jeff says. Hoodie walks out of the kitchen.

"Ow..." He mumbles. You walk over to him.

"Are you okay?" You ask. He nods.

"Mhm... Landed on my tailbone, but I think I'll be fine.." He mumbles. I nod.

"Okay. I'll be back in a second." You say as you go upstairs and knock on Toby's door. Masky opens it.

"Oh, what's up mom?" He asks.

"I need Toby..." He nods.

"Tobes, mom wants you." Toby walks up behind Masky.

"Yes..?" He asks nervously.

"I believe you have a mess to clean in the kitchen, young man." You say sternly.

"But- I-.. Yes m-mom..."

"I'll help!" Masky says. You nod. Toby smiles. You walk back downstairs to see LJ sitting on the ground in front of Hoodie.

"Mhm. I'm some sort of jack-in-a-box." Hoodie nods.

"Cool." He says. LJ smiles. Hoodie smiles back. You walk up to the two and pat LJ's head. He smiles up at you.

Later

You sat with the other six, watching a horror movie. Jeff had fallen asleep in your lap, Toby fell asleep against Masky, LJ was curled up on your right, leaning on your arm and sleeping soundly. Hoodie was the only other one awake. Once the movie was over, you gently shook LJ. He woke up and looked around before looking at you. He yawns and sits up straight. Hoodie got up. He stumbled slightly from sitting for so long. LJ helps to steady Hoodie.

"Thank you.." Hoodie mumbles tiredly. LJ nods. You carried Jeff as you woke Toby and Masky. Masky carried Toby to his room. LJ helped Hoodie walk upstairs. You carried Jeff upstairs into his room and set him down on his bed. You walk into Hoodie's room to see LJ lying with Hoodie. You smile then walk into your room, changing into pajamas and falling asleep after crawling into bed.
