I woke up to a face full of my white hair. I have no idea how my hair got so awful while is slept.
The room was warm, thankfully. I happily jumped out of bed. I was definitely a morning person. Actually I was an everything person. Not gonna lie, I'm not popular but I have a lot of amazing friends. I live at home with just my dad, my mum passed away during labour. Dad was great to me, so were my friends. I guess that's why I'm always so happy. There was literally nothing wrong with my life. Sure a boyfriend would be cool, but oh well.
I happily picked out my school clothes. I buttoned up my white short sleeve school shirt, slipped on my grey pleated school skirt and put on my stockings. They were black up to midway between my thigh and my knee. At the top there were cat ears and on the black a cats face was printed on. The back of them had a tail.
I grabbed my read sweater and slipped it on.
Next I did my hair and makeup.
My white hair was straight and my fringe was a little over my face, but mostly pushed over. I applied winged eyeliner and dark red lipstick before slipping on my black high top converse and grabbing my school bag that had a cat on the back.
"Bye daaaad" I called as I grabbed my lunch money and headed for my car.
My blue Honda jazz was covered in small rain drops. I climbed in and threw my bag in the back. As soon as I turned my baby on linkin park blared through the speakers, making me jump up and hit my head on the roof.
After I recovered from my shock I took of towards school. It was a half hour drive sadly.
After about ten minutes the rain was pouring.
"Jesus Christ" I laughed as people scattered for shelter
I drove slowly down a wet side street when I saw a boy holding a map looking confused. He was dressed in my school uniform. Grey pants and a white button up shirt. His hair was shaggy and brown, with little water droplets dripping off
I stopped next to him and wound down my window
"Are you lost?" I asked
He looked up at me awkwardly. He had spider bites and water dripping on his nose. He looked around and then pointed to himself
"Yes you" I smiled
"Uh yeah do you know where Winchester college is?" He asked as he pulled on one of his lip rings
"Yeah, hop in I'll give you a lift. You must be freezing" I laughed
He smiled gratefully
"Thankyou so much!"
He opened the passenger door and sat down carefully before closing it.
"I'm Kyri" I smiled as I started the car.
"I'm ben" he smiled back
"So you're not from around here?" I asked
"Uh well I lived here for a while before I moved to Dubai, now I'm back" he laughed
"I have no idea where Dubai is" I admitted with a laugh
We made light conversation until we pulled into the school grounds.
It was the first day of the year, my senior year than god.
"So what year are you in?" I asked as I turned off the car
"Twelve, you?" Ben smiled
"Same, uh do you need to sign in or something?" I questioned
"Yeah I do" ben mumbled as he remembered
"I'll take you there" I offered
"You're my favourite person holy shit" he laughed
"Hahaha bless you" I chuckled as we walked to the head office
