Chapter 3

Third Person's Point of View

"Mark, can you set the table?"

"Okay, Mama!"

You take a deep breathe as you put the basket down the table. You glanced at Emma as you saw her stiffens.

" Good morning Emma, " Norman greeted when he saw Emma.

You walk towards the door, passing by Emma and Norman.

"Smile, Emma..."

You didn't bother to look at them and continue walking to help the others.

You smiled at Gilda and helped her by taking a few of the plates she's holding.

"Thank you, (Y/n)."

You nodded your head and smiled at her and walk back to the table. You glanced at Isabella, then to Norman and Emma.

'Everything's going to be fine...' You thought and looked down to see your hand shaking a bit. You bit your lips and breathe in slowly, stopping the shaking of your hand as you put the plates down the table

You sit down under the tree near the house and read a book of adventure where it describes the place outside.

"(Y/n)," you stopped reading and look up, seeing Ray walking towards you with a book in his hand.

" ? "

"Nothing, " he said and sit down beside you, you looked at him confused but just shrugged it off and look around.

You saw Emma and Norman talking while walking towards the forest. You raised your book a bit more and watched the two.

'They're planning something.. '

Your eyes followed their movements as they slowly disappeared in your sight.

You get back on reading your book... You were so caught up on what is happening in the story that you didn't notice that Ray is beside you, looking at the book.

"What are you reading? "

You jumped in surprise and looked at your side and saw Ray looking at your book.

Because of that, you hit his face repeatedly using your book, "H-hey! Stop! "

"Ehnnn! "

"Oioi! "

You heard the other kids laughing at the two of you and Isabella then came.

"Why are you fighting? Ray? (Y/n)?"

You frown and hugged Isabella's waist suddenly, then you looked up, pointing Ray.

"Why me?! Mama! You saw that right?! "

"!!!" You glared at him and hugged Isabella tightly, then you stuck your tongue out at him.

Isabella giggled and patted your head,  you looked up and saw her smiling.

'That smile again... '

"Don't fight, my dear. It's alright.," she said, you nodded your head and released Isabella.

She walked away and then the bell rang.
