For the next hundred years, the boy formerly known as The Rose Prince became a legend, a fairytale that parents would tell their children as a bedtime story. He lived in an old cottage in the middle of the forest that had been abandoned by humans long ago. Rarely ever did he see anyone, except for lost travelers and boys who were trying to become men. Those visits where few and far in between, just the way he likes it.

One day, during the spring season, the Prince turned Demon heard the cry of a small child not far from his secluded cottage. He popped his head out of the upper story window and saw a little girl, probably no older than five or six. She had blonde hair that could only be described as honey like in color, and wore a white shirt tucked into a pink, knee length skirt. The small child was crying as she walked, her tears falling in fat globs. Typical for a child of her age struck with fear.

He decided to help out the child, and slipped out of his cottage like a cat leaping to a lower surface. It would be troublesome if she kept crying and got even more lost than she already was. The forest was no place for a little girl. Dangerous things lived in the forest, like himself. He folded in his wings tucked them inside his shirt and slid is tail underneath to hide it as well. He looked almost human, if you ignore his cat like glare, which definitely was not human.

"What are you doing all alone?" He asked the girl, using the softest voice he had. It wouldn't be good if he scared her. That would just cause more problems and he didn't want to deal with her any longer than he had to. The little girl looked up at him, her eyes pink like carnations.

"I went to pick flowers, but I got lost." She cried. She wasn't holding any flowers, so she must not have found them. All the flower beds where on the other side of the forest. The boy smiled at the little girl.

"What's your name sweetheart?"

"Tsumugi." She replied.

"Hello Tsumugi, my name is Tenn." He smiled. Tsumugi seemed to have calmed down a bit at Tenn's kindness as her tears lightened up. "Now, where does your Mama and Papa live?" If she lived in a village that could cause a bit of a problem for him. He could hide his wings and tail with magic, that was no problem, but interacting with the locals? Out of the question. He didn't seclude himself away in the forest for social interaction. It would be better if he was alone.

"I don't have any." Tsumugi cried. So was she an orphan? Well that would just make him pity her more than he already does.

"Do you have anyone you live with?" He asked.

"I live with my brothers." Tsumugi smiled.

"What are your brother's names?"

"Touma-nii, Tora-nii, Haru-nii and Mina-nii!" The girl smiled. She must love her older brothers very much. Still, it seemed odd that a girl would live without a mother. Four boys where certainly no fit to raise a little girl by themselves. That still hadn't solved his issue about where she lived.

"Do you remember where you and your brothers live?" Tenn asked. As much as he didn't want to take her all the way back home, she was still a child, and she would only get more lost the more she wondered by herself.

Tsumugi nodded. "We live in a cottage in the forest." Well this was going to be even more troublesome than he thought. If she came from the east, then she probably lives in that direction. If Tenn would be able to retrace her steps, he could find out where Tsumugi lives. Once he finds that out, he could drop her off at a spot where her brother's can't see him, and then teleport back to his cottage once Tsumugi is safely inside her home. It was fool proof, and then Tenn would no longer have to see or worry about Tsumugi ever again. At least he didn't have to worry about finding a village.
