After Chanyeol finished his work today, still confused from what happened today he closed the café and slowly made himself on his way home. Unlike the other days, this time it seemed like it took forever before Chanyeol arrived infront of his house. To his surprise, a black, expensive car was parked outside. He saw someone almost as tall as him leaning against that car and he was wondering, who that person could be. A little curious and scared, he slowly started walking towards the car that the person was leaning on.
When he got a few steps closer, he immediately knew who that person was. It was Sehun.
''Hey.'' He spoke up loudly, moving closer to the other curiously. He had no idea what Sehun was doing here and most importantly - how he found out where Chanyeol lives. He saw the other turning his gaze to him and smiling a little. When the shorter walked over to him, Chanyeol had to take a deep breath. He still didn't get used to the thought, that Sehun came here for him so it was possible, that his words could get stuck in his throat like always, when he was nervous.
''Hey Channie, before you ask how I found out where you live, Jongdae told me. I really, really wanted to talk to you and not only through the phone, because this isn't a simple problem that can be solved over a phone.''
Chanyeol simply nodded and without saying a single word, he walked over to the door of his house, unlocked it and waved his hand in the others direction, signing him to come inside. The shorter immediately jogged to him and flashed a small smile to him. The taller got inside and took first his shoes off, then put his coat on the clothes' peg and waited for the other to get inside. Sehun took only his shoes off, he decided to keep his hoodie on because he didn't think, that the taller would let him talk for too long. As he moved inside, Chanyeol closed the door and sighed quietly.
''Alright, if you want to talk, then I'm giving you a chance to do so, but let's get into the living room and sit on the sofa first. Talking while standing isn't ideal at all.'' Chanyeol didn't even let Sehun speak up , instead of that he just walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa, expecting the other to follow him. Sehun did just as he was told and followed the other. He sat down near him, turned his gaze to him again and started to explain.
''So.. Why I left. I thought it would be the best for the both of us, because the most long distance relationships don't last long. I hated the thought of you leaving me one day just because of the distance and it was killing me. I thought, you would find someone way better than me and leave me alone, because I felt like I wouldn't be enough to you. And now? Now I regret that stupid choice that I made. If I could, I would give my career up just to be back with you. There was never someone else in my heart and there will never be someone else in my heart. And even thought you probably don't even love me anymore, I want you to know that I never stopped loving you and my heart still beats for you. You are the only one for me.''
Chanyeol was taken aback by the actor's words. He didn't expect to ever hear any of these words, and as much he didn't want to take them too close to his heart, he did. All these memories suddenly hit him and made his heart hurt. If he'd say that he never even thought of Sehun in these past 7 years, he would lie. The first 4 months were awful, Chanyeol somehow managed to cry himself to sleep with the thought that he never was enough for him every day. He never really got over the shorter, but a month ago he decided to completely cut this theme off and start over again (which didn't work out by the way, he still thought about the other every day). And now, that he was almost moving on Sehun came back to apologise.
The tallers mind told him not to forgive him. No matter what reason the other had, he shouldn't have left him. But deeply in his heart, he wanted to forgive him. He wanted to forgive him and be with him again. To be happy with him forever, hold him in his arms and never let go again, but he didn't know what to say and so he just sat there quietly.
''Channie? Channie why are you crying?''
Chanyeol looked at the other confused before he himself realised, that he was crying. He immediately wiped the tears away with the sleeve of his shirt and sobbed quietly, then just shook his head and spoke up, stuttering at the start a little.
''It's just.. You came here after 7 years. 7 years after you left me alone and confused. Goddammit I was crying myself to sleep and asked myself why I wasn't enough for you every day for 4 months straight. Do you.. Do you even have an idea how hard that was for me? I honestly have no idea how to respond to you because it's so hard right now to make a sudden decision. If I take you back, I will be afraid that you will leave me again. But If I'll reject you, I will feel bad about it and curse at myself that I didn't take you back and think about how we could spend time together when you were here. If I only had time, I would think about it properly but we both don't have time and I have to make a spontaneous decision.''
Sehun nodded. He understood how the other felt and he felt sorry for all the pain that he caused to the older. The shorter took his hand and held it tightly in his grip, taking a deep breathe before speaking up again.
''Channie I mean it. I love you and I always will. But if you will reject me, I will understand that as well and I won't ever contact you anymore.''
These words hurt like hell and Chanyeol again felt a sharp pain in his chest. He had to make a decision right now and he knew it. It took him a few minutes before he spook up and looked up at the other with slightly wet eyes. He sobbed quietly and he was sure about the decision he was about to make.
''You fucking idiot.'' With that, Chanyeol wrapped his arms around the others waist and hugged him tightly. He wanted to start all over again, after all everyone does mistakes and so did Sehun. He wanted to give the other a second chance and be happy with him again because Chanyeol loved him with all his heart as well and he didn't want to miss the chance when he had it now. With quiet sobs, he cuddled up to the other and hugged him even tighter (If that was even possible).
''I swear to god you're so stupid. So, so stupid like you always were. I can't say no to you, you know that, right?''
Sehun wrapped his arms around the others body and threw one of his legs over the olders waist. He put his finger under Chanyeol's chin, lifted it up and without hesitating he closed the space between their lips, as a sign that he knows.
Sehun hoped, that the other understood this sign.
And Chanyeol did.
