Everything Has Changed (Lukanette)

Chapter 2

Normal P.O.V.

"Alright, everyone, now who can explain the saying "To be or not to be" in 'Hamlet'"?", Miss Bustier asked the class as she wrote the saying on the chalkboard. As Max started to explain, Luka wasn't really paying too much attention as he just started to daydream as he looked at Marinette without anyone noticing.

Ring!!!

It was too long until he realized that he had spaced out until the bell for their next period had started to ring, making the blue-haired boy jump up slightly in surprise. He let out a sigh of relief as he was glad that no one had noticed his reaction as he got up from his desk.

As he walked out of Miss Bustier's classroom, he started to walk with his sister and her girlfriend along with the rest of his classmates to their next class, which was Science, with Miss Mendeleiev.

As the class walked to the locker room to take out their books, Luka had taken out his textbook and noticed that there were different bookmarks and notes on the work created by Marinette herself.

He smiled happily and gratefully as he looked at her signature cherry blossom design on the bookmarks, followed by a black and blue aesthetic background them. "Hey Luka", he heard a voice call his name, and it was the voice he loved so dearly.

He turned to see Marinette as she smiled sweetly at him, that always managed to put him under some type of trance or magic spell that she would unintentionally cast on him and his heart.

"Oh, hey Marinette", he greeted her happily with his usually small but calm smile naturally curving on his lips, "Thank you for the notes and bookmarks, I really appreciate it", he winked at her, making her lightly blush in reply.

"Y-Your welcome!", she blushed even harder, "If you need help with anything else, just let me know", she offered happily to him, "T-Thank you", he playfully mocked her stuttering before lightly chuckling, making her blush even harder and playfully stick her tongue out at him.

The two had finally caught up with the others and sat at their seats in the Science/Chemistry/Physics/Math classroom where everyone took out their books and iPads to start class.

"Alright, everyone! In this lesson today, you will be doing a presentation next week, explaining human, animal and plant life on planet earth and how it can also help different planets, I have already picked your partners", she told the class as everyone looked at each other.

The dark purple haired scientist took out a piece of paper with the different names written on it. "Luka and Marinette", she called out, making the guitarist smile happily and Marinette also smile as she could work with Luka.

"Lila and Adrien", the teacher called out, suddenly making Marinette's heart crumble down into millions of pieces, Adrien lightly frowned in slight disappointment but just went along with it, and Lila happily smirked to herself.

"Alix and Max, Nathaniel and Ivan, Rose and Kim, Sabrina and Juleka and then Chloe, Nino, and Alya", Miss Mendeleiev called out the rest of the names in the class, letting them sit next to their partners.

As Lila sat up to go sit next to Adrien, only Luka and Marinette noticed the smug smirk that was lightly tugging at her lips along with the venomous olive green eyes that were glaring at the black-haired girl in mock and happiness for her.

Marinette lightly growled under her breath, letting Luka hear it as she could naturally feel her anger and jealousy raging from her mind and heart. He sat down next to her and put his hand on her shoulder.

"Marinette", he looked deep into her bluebell eyes and she just sighed in defeat because of Lila and her ways. Luka knew what Lila was like because she knew about lying about Jagged Stone and the way she treated Marinette when she refused to be her friend because of her lies.

As the Italian brunette sat next to the blonde model and started to actually flirt with him more than actually working. Marinette just took a deep breath in and then out, to try and keep her cool.
