The Truth Behind The Mask

The reason

After being clean for 2 years...2 wonderful years. You let your demons take over again.

The alcohol passes one after another and it never stops until we force it away from you. Going to bed drunk out of your head while all we can do is to help you into the bed, because you can't even walk.

It is like 2015 all over again.. You getting drunk then taking your anger and frustration out on us. If we are lucky enough you are drunk enough so you don't talk or more even touch.

Words hurt more then actions do, but still you wonder why I don't like you.

You make me feel like a disappointment, because I don't do good like the others in school. What must I do, please tell me...

Acting like nothing happend the next day. Completely forgetting what you did last night.

A glass of water and a disprin for the hangover and you sleeping till late.

Why can't you stay the person you are when you are sober? A caring, loving and wise father that you are meant to be..

All that is left is a angry drunk of a father. I can't even call you dad anymore, because all that you are is a donare to me. A person that helped to give me life.

In your drunken eyes a waste of space, nothing for to love anymore...

They say that a dad is who steals his daughters heart first and to keep it safe from harm and away from heartbreak, but you were the one that broke my heart first.

The pain is to real and time can't heal what you did to me. Tears of disappointment is all I feel nowadays. Screams heard through walls but still no one comes to be a night in shining armor.

I don't even know why Mom is still with you. I can see the hurt, anger and disappointment thats she hold in her eyes. Disappointment for not successfully keeping you clean , anger at herself for believing you had changed and hurt for all the drunken words you curse on us.

So dear Father here is your answer for why I dislike you, you broke me beyond repair.
