Camp Savannah 🌷

Finally in Maine

The plane finally got to Maine and I got by bag from the tamest and caught an Uber. The Uber took me to the camp and I struggled to get my 8 bags from the car. I walked up to the camp entrance and signed my name. They gave me my cabin number and sent me on my way. I walked into the camp and I saw somebody at the flag pole. He looked like he knew what he was doing. So I asked him for directions. When he turned around his blue beautiful eyes caught me. I tried not to show affection for him. He introduced himself. His name was Cody. He took me to my cabin and left. I saw an empty bed and I took it. The camp was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I walked out of the cabin and ran into some of my cabin mates. Their names were Kaelyn, Briley, Trinity, and Hope. "Hey my name is kaelyn." "Hi, mine is Brielle." "oooooo, pretty." Trinity says. "We're your cabin mates." Hope says. "Let us introduce ourselves." Briley says. "My name is Trinity. I'm your cabin leader." "My name is Hope. I'm the nerdy one." "My name is Briley .I'm the OCD one." "My name is Kaelyn. I'm the loud one." "Well, you all seem nice." I say. "Do you know who that boy is over there by the flag pole?" "That's my boyfriend." Trinity says. "Future boyfriend." Hope says. My heart drops. "Oh..." I say. "Why do you ask?" Trinity asks. "No reason." I reply. I get a text from Rachel. Rae: How's it going!? Me: Good I guess... Rae: What do you mean? Me: I don't know..I gotta go. I needed to get away from the conversation.  I threw on the clothes I packed and headed out.

Everybody stared at me and watched me as I went to the mess hall. Everybody was wearing baggy shorts and baggy t shirts. I myself was in a wonderful outfit. I finally made it to the mess hall which seemed forever to get to. I saw my cabin mates at a table close tot he end of the building and went to go sit there. They were talking about puppies. Then I remembered I left my dog at home. I hurried up and ran outside and called my mom. "Come on.....answer. Hey mom!!!" Hey sweetie what do you need?" "Well I left my dog." I say. "I know. You'll be fine. I have to go to work bye." She hung up. I silently screamed in my head. I see Cody walk by and I walk fast to the mess hall and sit by Kaetlyn. "Why did you run out like that?" Kaetlyn asked. "Important call." I lied. "Oh." Hope said. "Anyways....I like this boy named Colton he's in cabin 23." Hope says "Oooooo!!!" Bailey said in a speacial voice. We all laugh. It's time to settle in and go to bed. We walk to the cabin and Kaetlyn sees Cody. She winks at him but he gives no reaction. It was very awkward to all of us. She gets mad at walks faster and finally we head to the cabin and we get in our beds. It takes me forever to go to sleep. But I finally do.
