"Ok. I'll be starlight there! Bye." Rachel ends the call. "I have to go back to New York for some upcoming business." She says. "Like what?" I say. "Nothing. I can't tell you!" She shouts. "Okay. Whatever." I say annoyed. "I'm going to text Cody to tell him I have to move back. I hope he takes the news well!" She says.
Rachel's phone: Rachel:I have some news to tell you. Cody❤️❤️:Ok. What is it? Rachel: I'm moving back to New York for some important business i hope we can still date though? Cody❤️❤️: I don't do long distance relationships. I'm sorry Rachel but we might have to break up. Rachel: Maybe your right. Bye Cody.
She lays the phone on the bed and starts to tear up. I ask her what's wrong and she tell me. "We just broke up. He says he doesn't do long distance relationships." "I'm so sorry Rachel." I say with sadness for multiple best friend and happiness for me. "He was like the best boyfriend I've had in a while since I broke up with Ethan!" She says. "It'll be okay!" I say. I help her pack for heading home and I say my final goodbyes to her as she leaves camp. I see Cody but I think it's too early for me to start talking to him. "Why is Rachel leaving?" Hope asks. "She has some important business going on at home. She wouldn't tell me. And she also broke up with Cody." I say. "Oh wow!" Hope says. "Yea!" I say. "You should go talk to him!" Kaetlyn says. "I don't-'' "Hey Brielle!!" Cody yells. "What? Is he talking to me?" I whisper to the girls. "I don't know? Go talk to him!!" Jaelyn yells. I go over there walking as awkward as I can. "Look I know I rejected you but I shouldn't have. And the way I treated you when Rachel came was so wrong. I'm hoping you can forgive me?" He asks. "Of course." I say. We look into each other's eyes and deep deep down in there we can both see true love. "I love you Brielle!" "I love you too Cody!" We both say. "We spend the rest of camp together laughing and having our moments. I knew this wasn't going to be as bad as I thought it was!!
