A Diamonds Pearl

Part 1 - The Beginning

Pink pearl's POV:

Homeworld, quiet, unmoving almost robotic, it was so boring on homeworld, then again no one would think to give a pearl the time of day aside from Pink her, glimmering, opulent, radiant diamond. The other diamonds (White, Blue and Yellow), had called her to a meeting and us pearls stood sentry outside.
I was a few hundred years younger then the other pearls, and this is my first time standing with all of them at once. Blue Pearl was standing next to me, who was standing next too Yellow Pearl and at the end of the line was, White Pearl (CG Pearl). I couldn't quite place my finger on it, something about her was so intriguing, so mysterious and before I knew it I found myself staring at her. Her eyes brushed over me before returning to looking at the giant door in front of us and I blushed a deep pink. I returned to standing emotionless as a Pearl should but I couldn't stop thinking about White Pearl.
'Omg, omg, omg, I can't believe White Pearl looked at me! I mean I know I was staring at her but she looked at ME!'
To Pink Pearl that was the first time White Pearl even looked at her but little did she know that it was only the first she noticed.

30 minutes later

I was getting bored and decided to go against my programming and talk to the others. Pink wouldn't mind if I tried to talk to them as she more of a friend to me than a master, even if she is a diamond. I turned my head towards Blue Pearl and let out a small "Hi." No response.
"It's nice to see you again" I tried again with a warm smile. No response. My eyes drifted to White Pearl, her eyes were looking at me again! To my surprise I noticed a small blush as she looked away. Maybe she isn't as emotionless as she seems, I smiled to myself at the thought.
My eyes drifted back to the door and I wondered what was taking Pink so long.
In an effort to start a conversation with the others I asked,
"Why do you 3 always ignore me?" I sighed,
Yellow Pearl scoffed at my question as I looked at her in confusion.
In a meek voice Blue Pearl stated "We would be shattered if we did so" a look of shock came over BP's as the words left her mouth, as she realised what she had done. Her left hand covered her gem in wait of the supposed danger to come. A few seconds of silence passed and BP relaxed knowing nothing would happen, her hand returning to her side, told YP that she could speak freely.
"It's not just because we're in fear of being shattered but you are just like your diamond, loud, annoyingly persistent and always begging us to speak whenever you're with us!"
"Y-yellow I think that's-" Blue Pearl tried to defuse the conversation but failed. YP rounded on BP.
"No Blue! She needs to be taught a lesson! I'm sick of her being so careless and childlike! She needs to be shattered for the way she's acting but her diamond doesn't have the guts to do it!" YP finished almost yelling. BP has taken a few steps back from YP, PP's face was a mix of shock and terror while WP stood emotionless glazing blankly at the door, uninterested. Luckily, the diamonds meeting room was soundproof so no one could here their plans and they couldn't hear their Pearl's talking.
Yellow Pearl continued turning back to face the door and with a smirk on her face, "MY diamond on the other hand is merciless when it comes to punishing, so there's no mistakes in her court and she never hurts me as I am her perfect Pearl, I'm not defective like you" she shot an icy glare at Pink Pearl.
Returning to her place Blue Pearl contributed with a look of awe on her face,
"My diamond, is the most forgiving of the diamond and is the perfect blend of merciful and merciless."
Although Yellow Pearl was acting like a self absorbed jerk and Blue Pearl was boasting about her diamond, Pink Pearl was happy, they were for the first time, in a long time having a conversation with her.
Blue Pearl smiled at Yellow Pearl and she returned it. They thought it felt nice to talk freely with other gems, all three pearls turned their heads to look at White Pearl as she still stood there, emotionless, unmoving. She had served the diamonds the longest out of the four of them and the other 3 have never heard her talk to anyone other than her diamond and gems she was required to talk too.
YP, BP and I all had the same question playing on our minds and I was the only one to say it.
"What about your diamond?"
