What just happened?

You stumbled a bit, getting off balance "H-hey where are we going??" You questioned, looking up at Aidan. He glanced back, your eyes widen, for a sort second you swore you saw sinister a look on his eyes. He smiled and winked "It's a secret my pet"

You felt a chill ran down your spine after what he said, you just continued to follow him. Long walks down the huge halls, quick turns then up the stairs. After what seem to be an eternity, he finally stopped in front of a normal looking brick wall.

You titled your head "It's a dead end..?" You said unsure if he totally lost his marbles. He chuckled and lifted your chin with his fingers "Close your eyes.." He whispered in a sexy low tone.

You gave him a look of 'what the fudge' and 'the heck?!'. Raising your eyebrows but decided to do so. You can feel his stupid smirk on his face, all you can hear is tinkling and swishing noises. A strong light shined through and you opened your eyes.

Aidan in the middle of the now disappeared, opened wall to another room. "Amazing isn't it? Come along, Carlo's probably done by now" he said, holding out his hand towards you.

You reluctantly accepted and followed beside him. The room is like everything you can imagine a sorcerer would have. Bookshelves around the room, bottles filled with glowing fluids, trinkets, stones, amulets, books and papers everywhere as well as some jars full of unknown items.

You squeaked when a crow, screamed beside you, stumbling back. Aidan caught you, you look up and saw him smiling "Wooh that was close, hold my hand okay? I don't want my princess to get hurt" he said and you blushed a little, his kinda attractive when he doesn't look like his going to eat you like a hungry lion.

You quickly stood straight and cleared your throat, shyly holding his hand "L-lead the way.." You shy said, looking away from him. He chuckled and tighten his grip on your hand, starting to walk towards a table full of books. He looked around and called out for Carlo.

Carlo suddenly appeared in front of the both of you covered in thick purple colored smoke. "Oh your highness. What may be the reason for your sudden visit?.. Again" he said, holding a large old looking black book and setting it on the table.

You looking up at him in awe, it still amazes you that there are real magic in this universe and determined to at least use some magic to your advantage.

Carlo seems to notice your longing stare and he gave a warm smile "Guessing you want her to have it right now hm?" This caught you off guards. You looked up at the sorcerer "E-excuse me??" He chuckled as he stood in front of you.

Aidan's grip on you tightened, like as if you're going to disappear at any second. You winched then looked up at Carlo, he smiled and opened his hands, showing an egg that's growing, maybe about up as big as an ostrich egg. The colors of the egg is a mix of white, pink and faded blue hue, it looks magical.

You looked up, confused as always. Carlo smiled and handed it to you "Prince Aidan requested me to personally craft a special gift for you lady y/n, it may be a little odd looking for now but believe me when the time comes.." he paused and chuckled "It'll turn something beautiful, I hope you will be pleased lady y/n" he continued then looked at aidan. 

Aidan simply smiles, carlo smirked "Would you let me try to finish my work now, your highness?" he asked with a hint of annoyance. Aidan simply smiled and waved his hand "You may"

Carlo turned back to you and bowed "Looking forward to our next encounter lady y/n" with that he disappeared in purple smoke.

You stared for a moment then looked at the egg he gave you, mesmerize and mainly curious on what creature it came from or what it will be became of.
