Chapter Two

Brandon's POV

I kept my eyes on her as her head was rested against my chest. I bet Rowan can hear how fast my heart is beating because of her. Rowan is literally only person I'd die for. I've grown to love her and fall for her even more during these past few weeks.

While I was in juvie, I thought a lot about Rowan. I wondered how she was doing, and I wondered if she's okay. I was debating on calling her or not some of the times because I missed her too much, but I didn't. If I randomly called her, she would either not answer because she still hated me, or she would just answer it and just take it out on me... or maybe even just have a normal conversation. But I had to give her space. To let her think about everything.

I caught feelings the first time I looked at her. I don't know what the fuck I'd do if I ever lost her even though we're just friends. I'd probably do something stupid to be honest.

Rowan's POV

I turn my head, my chin poking his chest, "You look like you're thinking really hard." I say to Brandon.

"Yeah... just thinking about random shit." Brandon says, with an awkward tone.

"Are you okay? You seem... off." I say, looking at his pretty blue eyes that were watering.

"Yeah.. I'm fine." Brandon says.

"Brandon, you can tell me anything." I said.

"I'm hom-

I sprung off of Brandon, sitting up. "Hi." I awkwardly say.

"Hi..." Trevor awkwardly said back.

All of the sudden, I just started thinking about Elisia. "What time is it?"

Brandon grabs his phone out of his pocket. "8:40."

"Shoot, I was supposed to hang with Elisia at 7! Um, I'm see you guys later." I stood up quickly, grabbing my jacket and leaving.

As I left, I heard, "Wait is that my jacke-

I ran over to Elisia's house, then knocked on the door. "Where were you?" Elisia popped a popcorn in her mouth.

"Sorry... I just got caught in some shit." I walked in.

"What shit?" Elisia asked.

"Stuff with Brandon." I said.

"Ooh did you guys-

"No." I quickly said. "He got hurt and I was helping him... then we cuddled and lost track of time. We ONLY cuddled, didn't do anything else. Nope."

"Okay, you guys need to like... get together or something." Elisia smirked, we both sat down.

"I don't think I'm ready for a relationship..." I sighed.

"Oh, please. That's what I thought when Ash and I were arguing about stuff but look how things turned out." Elisia says. "I see the way you and Brandon look at each other."

I looked down, my cheeks burning hot just at the thought of Brandon. "I like him. But I just... I don't know. Everything's too overwhelming for me right now."

"Yeah, everything is overwhelming. But one day you guys are gonna get together and even Brandon probably knows that, he's just waiting until you say something. I can see right through him." Elisia smirked.

"What, can you read minds now?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Brandon has been in love with you since he first saw you, trust me." Elisia says.

"What? But he bullied-

"Yeah, he bullied you. But he was still in love with you. Just trust me on this one. Every time you weren't looking and he was, his eyes were literally in the shape of hearts- see you're blushing just thinking about him." Elisia smiled.

"Shut up." I laughed.

"Shoot your shot girl." Elisia says.
