Rowan's POV
two weeks later

"I can't believe school is almost over. I'm free from school in four days." I say, sighing.

"Well, I'm glad school ended for me last week. I just get so lonely during the day when you aren't around." Brandon says.

"I know, I'm sorry babe." I say, wiping my makeup off.

I looked at Brandon from the bathroom. He was sitting down on my bed, shirtless, I immediately almost start drooling. He looked up, catching my eye. We both smirked.

"So, you never told me what happened after I was in the car accident. What'd you say to your dad?" Brandon asks as I went to go grab a shirt from the drawer.

I didn't say anything yet as I grab the first shirt I pulled. It was Brandon's t-shirt. I walked back into the bathroom, changing into it. "Well..." I start.

I put my dirty clothes in the laundry basket, walking out to Brandon. I leaned against my desk. "I explained to my dad everything." I sighed.

"Everything...?" Brandon raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah. Everything. From the whole Dunbar-Monkeyman thing to the whole King Cobra and Mr. Mt thing." I say.

"How'd your dad react?" Brandon asked.

"He was pissed at first. But then after a few minutes, he understood why I didn't want to tell him everything that happened. He knew that if I told him, he would go completely strict more than he already is, keep me under house arrested, make sure everybody else is too, and then slowly start figuring out everything. He knew I didn't want that because I would've been dead by the time they figured out everything. My dad also started to understand why I turned to Stinger... or Lance. He's a hacker. He found random shit and information 100 times faster than what a police officer can do. My dad was gonna punish me but decided not to because he knew how much I've been through." I explain.

"Damn. So... what now?" Brandon asked.

"I don't know. I don't think he's gonna do anything. The damage has already been done." I sighed.

Brandon gestured for me to come closer. When close enough, he pulls me even closer to him. I sat on his lap, wrapping my legs around him.

"So, doing anything fun at school?" Brandon asked.

I get chills as I feel his fingers running down my thigh.

"N-Not really." I stuttered, looking down at his fingers that was moving up and down my thighs. He's making me get chills.

I looked back up at him and he was staring at my lips. He stopped running his fingers up and down my thighs as he noticed that I caught him staring at my lips. I giggled, also making him giggle. He kisses my lips and then starts tickling me. I start laughing, Brandon flipping me around and onto the bed. He continues tickling me and I can't content myself, giggling and kicking.

"Brandon, stop." I can't stop laughing, grabbing my pillow and smacking him with it.

Brandon laughs, stopping. He kisses me once again and pulls away. "You taste like-

"Burgers? Because that's what I ate like 10 minutes ago." Brandon says, making me chuckle.

"No." I say, "Are you smoking again?"

"Again?" Brandon raised an eyebrow. He sighs, "I never stopped."

"Brandon." I sat up.

"I'm sorry." Brandon frowns. "I can't stop."

"You need to think about yourself, Brandon. You know what you're doing to yourself?" I gave him a look.

"Yeah." He sighs, looking down.

"Hey, look at me." I said, lifting his head up, caressing his cheek, "You should quit."

"Rowan, I tried." Brandon says, "There's no way."

"There is a way." I said, tears filling our eyes. "Please."

Brandon doesn't say anything, but continued staring at me in the eyes. Tears start dripping down our cheeks, "I don't wanna lose you. Ever." I say.

Brandon nods, "I'll stop. But I don't know-

"We'll have to get rid of any... drugs and cigarettes... and all that stuff." I said.

Brandon nods. "Okay."
