"Why does all your draws smell like seaweed?" Stella asked me before sitting on my bed after smelling the retched stench in my room and examining all my draws, as of now, smelled like indeed the sweet ocean smell of seaweed. It was Saturday afternoon as we decided to hang out in my room as we painted our nails and talked. Since I was so busy with this Hunter babysitting in school, I haven't spent much time with my best friend, and I really just missed her, and desperately wanted to hang out.
I sighed before answering, "well, Madeline is still angry at me for the whole 'bringing Hunter to my house thing', which she claims I supposedly made her look bad in front of him, even though that was her very own doing, so being the childish bitch she is, she has declared a prank war between us." I explained scoffing.
Stella thought for a moment before answering. "you and Hunter seem to be getting quite close," she said slowly as I stood up from my bed to head to my dresser to grab my comb, and comb through my black medium length hair.
"Yeah, so?" I said shrugging, not knowing the exact big deal to this discussion is.
"So, what will Seb think about this?" She questioned, causing me to groan as I stopped combing my hair and looked at her through my mirror.
Sebastian Martin was my on again, off again boyfriend for almost a year now. The relationship was tiring all together, but we love each other too much to officially break up, or, we are just desperate teens in need of someone to fool around with, either way works fine with me.
"First of all, right now we're on a break, second, I don't like Hunter in that way," I stated truthfully and simply before returning back to combing my hair.
"Okay, but he's coming back from visiting his grandparents this week. I just hope he sees what you see, you know, Hunter as a friend, nothing else," she said sternly and I snorted at her statement.
"Don't worry, I'll make sure of it, I don't want Seb pride to be ruined," I said returning back to the mirror.
" and," she said standing up and stood next to me in front of my mirror as she combed her light brown hair." I hope Hunter also knows you're just friends." she said looking at me sternly through the mirror.
"Why are you so intrigued in this matter, do you like him or something," I asked and she smirked, twirling her brown locks with her index finger.
"Believe me, I have my eyes on someone else," she said quite dangerously and I narrowed my eyes at her.
"Really who?" I asked, and she bit her lip due to nervousness.
"Um, I promised him not to tell anyone, I'm sorry, " she said and I smiled at her.
" it's okay, as long as you're happy. Can't wait to meet him though," I said, and she gave me a small smile that didn't quite reach her eyes.
