Mixy and Mitch

Mitch's POV

I'm going to do it. I'm going to propose to Mixy today. I can do this.

"But what if she says no?" I thought

Ok. Maybe not today.

*2 days later*

I can do this!

"Hey Mixy! Wanna go to the park? I know how you love chucking the entire piece of bread at the birds." I said

"Sure. Grab an entire loaf this time lol."

*time skip to park*

"Hey Mix! There's some birds." I said

*1 loaf of bread later*

I can do this. I can do this. I put my hand on the box in my pocket, and thought,"I can do this."

Then, the negative part of me thought,"But what if she says no?"

"Mitch? Are you okay? You look afraid. Are you afraid that the birds are going to come after us?" Mixy said, always knowing how to cheer me up.

"Hahah. No. We should probably head back soon." I said

"Okay. Lezgooo!" Mix said

"I can't do this. Why can't I be more like Lachlan?" I thought

*2 days later*

I CAN DO DIS SHIT.

"Mixy! I'm hungry." I said

"I'm not cooking." Mix said

"Let's go to that little diner on the corner." I said

"Ok."

*Time skip to restaurant*

"Jerome. Why exactly did you have to come?" I asked

"I'm hungry. A baccas gotta eat. And I call the inside by my Benja." Jerome said

I shot him a thankful look.

"Welcome! 3 people? Booth or table?" The waitress said

"Yes three and a booth please ma'am." I said

"Ok. This way!" The waitress said

We got settled in, and looked through our menus for a few minutes.

"Are we ready to order?" The waitress asked

"Yep." We all said at the same time

"I'd like the chicken quesadilla please." Mixy said

"I'll have the French dip." I said

"I'll have the biggest burger you've got. With everything on it." Jerome said

"Okay. That would be the Super Nick. If you can eat the entire thing, it's free, and you get a t-shirt." The waitress said

"No problem." Jerome said

"You're one hungry bacca. Huh Jerome." I said

"Yep." Jerome replied

When our food finally arrived, it was just mine and Mix's.

"Yours is coming." The waitress said to Jerome

She walked back to the kitchen, and came back holding two plates, with another waitress behind her also carrying two plates.

"We have to cut it in fourths it's so big." she explained

Then about 10 people started crowding around our booth, probably wanting to see if Jerome could finish it.

By the time Mix and I had finished our food, Jerome was half done, and still going strong.

"I can do this." I thought

When Jerome got to 3/4 done, I got out of the booth, and took out the ring box. I got down on one knee, and tapped Mixy's shoulder.

I noticed that Jerome stopped eating, and took out his phone to film us.

Mixy looked over at me, and gasped.

"Mixy. Ever since I first saw you, I knew that you were my soul mate. I've been trying to ask you this for 5 or so days, but I haven't had the courage. Whenever I see someone look at you, I want to punch their face, and tell them that you're mine. Will you promise me your love for the rest of eternity? Mixy. Will you marry me?" I asked

Mixy stared at me, and I thought she was going to say no.

Then she screamed, and said,"YES MITCH. I WILL MARRY YOU NOW AND FOREVER. I LOVE YOU MITCHELL DONALD RALPH HUGHES."

I don't think I've ever smiled that hard.

"Now that. Is why I had to come with. To video tape it." Jerome said

"You dirty stinking bacca!" Mixy laughed

"Done!" Jerome said as he finished the last bite of his burger.

The owner of the diner rushed over with a t-shirt and a camera.

He took a picture of Jerome, and gave him the t-shirt.

"Congratulations you two. Foods free." he said

"Thanks." Mix said

We grew old together, and had one baby girl named Arabella. We died of death, and lived great lives together.
