Lachlans POV
"Hey Ashley! Wanna dance?" I asked
"Sure!" She replied happily
"Let's go!" I said
*10 minutes before 12 am New Years day*
Ashley's POV
Lachlan and I decided to take a break from dancing, and get something to drink.
"What would you like Ashley?" Lachlan asked
"Ummm. What are my options?" I asked
"Mountain Dew, Sprite, Pepsi, Coke, or an alcoholic beverage." Lachlan replied
"Well. Let's play the game where you rule out your options. I'mma say no to alcohol. Cuz eeeew. I dislike Pepsi and Coke, but I love Mountian Dew and Sprite. Tough decision."
I said thoughtfully
"Oh. Well. You could always put both in a glass. Then put the other half in another glass, and I'll drink it." Lachlan said
"Ok."
Now you know my preferred type of soda, and how I got to like it. Woooo.
*7 minutes to 12 am New Year's Day*
Lachlans POV
Should I kiss Ashley at midnight? Are we that close? Does she love me as much as I love her? Will she think I'm weird if I kiss her?
Ugh. I need to talk to Tyler (munchingbrotato). He's good with relationships. (whatever. He is in my story.)
"Ashley! Can you excuse me for a second? I need to talk to Tyler." I said
"Sure!" She smiled
I went in search of Tyler. When I finally found him, he was in the corner talking to Ty. (Geddit Ty and Ty talking! Okee I'll shuddup now.)
"Hey Ty can I talk to Tyler alone?" I asked
"Sure. Relationship questions?" Ty said
"Yep." I replied
"What is your question oh Lachlan." Tyler said
"Should I kiss Ashley at 12?" I asked
"The great cat, that's me, says yes. You love her and she loves you. This is normal." Tyler said
"Thanks Tyler." I said
And I walked back to Ashley.
*5 minutes to 12 am New Year's Day*
Ashley's POV
"Hey Ashley! I'm back!" Lachlan said giving me a giant hug
"Air." I said
"Oh. Yeah." Lachlan said
Then I hugged him just as hard.
"Air" he said
"Haha! Now you know what it's like!" I said happily
"Woooow." Lachlan said
*3 minutes to 12 am New Year's Day*
Lachlans POV
I really hope I don't mess this up.
"Come on Lachlan. It's just one kiss." I thought to myself
"I can do this!" I thought
2 minutes to 12 am New Year's Day*
Ashley's POV
"Alright. Now right before 12 am, here's a slower song for you guys. Grab someone special and hit the dance floor!" Jerome said
Oh. Did I forget to say he's the DJ? Oh. Well. Jerome's the DJ
Lachlan, ever the gentleman, decided to be cheesy and offer me his hand and said
"Would you do me the honor of dancing with me?"
"Sure!" I said
*20 seconds to 12 am New Year's Day*
Ashley's POV
"Alright everyone! 20 seconds. Now were going to start our countdown.
"20. 19. 18. 17. 16. 15. 14. 13. 12. 11. 10. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1. Wooooooo!!" Jerome said
Then Lachlan leaned in close, and gave me a kiss. I don't know how other people aren't feeling these fireworks!
That was the best New Years I've ever had.
Mixys POV
I looked over and Ashley, and I saw her and Lachlan kissing. It was SO cute.

Then Mitch came over, and kissed me! Right on New Years too. I felt so special.
"Beautiful" he whispered
"Who are you calling beautiful, beautiful." I said back
"Haha. So we're both beautiful."
"Yep." I smiled
