I'm not sure if it was good idea to move a city in the first place. Searching a new apartment, starting in a new high school and filling all these papers makes me want to give up and continue my old life.

Unfortunately that's not an option anymore.

Some part of me is very excited of the fact that I can wipe the state clean but knowing that I really have to find new friends and attend new environment makes me nervous. I know that I'm very good one making friends but somehow I find it very confusing to interact with new people. You need to put extra effort to give the best possible first impression and it doesn't help that I've put all of my energy to this moving process.

Even though it has been hard, I wouldn't do it otherwise. Here I can finally breathe without having the same problems that I had in New York. I wish that I can finally forget them.

...

I walk through the corridor with my schedule trying to head to the English class. I know I'm not the biggest fan of high school but this time I'm motivated to study harder than I did in New York.

Other students look at me as I walk past them. I do my best to keep my mouth in a slight smile because I don't want to look pissed in the first day at school. Remember good first impression.

After walking awhile I realize that I don't have any idea where the class actually is. At the same time the fact that I have to ask for help hits me. To be honest, I wasn't prepared to ask for help. I don't want to be social today.

But I have to.

I lift my face from the paper and scan through the corridor, realizing that two girls are staring at me. I'm not bothered because I've always been quite popular and somehow many girls have found me attractive. It's just a matter of time when all these teenage girls are running after me.

I decide to ask those girls for help so I walk towards them.

"Hi, can I ask for a help?" I say and they turn around to face me.

"Yeah, sure", the blonde one says while they both turn to red.

"Could you tell me where English class is?" I give them a little smile and they blush even more.

"C-can I see your schedule?" She stutters.

"Yeah", I say handing it to her.

"Oh, we have the same class, maybe you can just follow us, instead of just explaining where it is", she smiles and hands the schedule back.

"Sounds great, thanks", I say.

"Anyway, my name is Samantha and this is Gloria", she points at her friend. "She is a bit shy."

"Nice to meet you both, I'm Cassius", I smile.

"We must go now", she says and we walk together in the class.

Samantha and Gloria sit next to each other and I take a seat behind them. Students start to flood into the class and I can feel all these eyes on me. I hear a couple of girls talking about me and saying I look good.

Somehow I wished that nobody would  notice me but apparently there's a light sign over me saying that I'm a new one in the class. It will hopefully be easier after a few days but now I just have to stay calm and try to be normal.

Gloria is finally talking something to Samantha and I can hear her voice. Maybe someday she will be able to talk to me as well. I don't want to push it anyways.

...

After English I follow Samantha and Gloria through the corridor. They sit down onto the bench looking at me. After a little time other students join us and look at me with curious eyes.

"Hey whatsup", they say to the girls.

"Hey dudes", the girls say.

Three handsome guys look at me and smile. "Who's this?"

"He's Cassius, a new boy. We had the same English class", Samantha explains.

"Nice to meet you", I smile and continue. "Who are you?"

"I'm Max, and these two bodybuilders are Jeremy and Grason", he chuckles.

We talk a little and I really enjoy spending time with this group. I'm still a bit outsider but I'm happy that I've already found some friends so I don't have to be alone.

...

After school I head to my locker and take my jacket. I should definitely put something here to make it look better. At the moment my locker is quite empty and grim.

I close my locker in my thoughts and wonder what I could eat today. I don't even notice that someone is walking against me and before I can react, her books have fallen to the floor.

I'm so clumsy.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't notice you", I apologize and look into her green eyes. She looks at me a bit shocked and starts to pick her books.

"Let me help you", I say and bend over.

"It's okay, I can deal it myself", she gives me a quick smile. Her brown curly hair falling down on her shoulders beautifully.

"No, I can help", I smile and hand her one book.

"Thanks", she says and walks away.

I didn't really register anything. Everything happened so quickly and I was left there alone. I wonder who she was. She must be thinking I'm weird.

She was actually very beautiful. But why did she run away? Maybe she was shy? Did I make something wrong?

Oh my god why am I thinking so much. I should just go home.
