Six months previously...

"Marco!" squealed Star. Marco looked up at her and her heart melted. He walked up to her and they melted into a kiss.
"Happy one year anniversary," he smiled, pulling a diamond necklace from his hand behind his back. He looked back at Eclipsa (who was spying on them through a bush) and she gave him a thumbs up.

"Aww! Thank you Marco. I got you..." she smiled and pulled a wallet from her hand.
"A limited edition Quest Buy wallet! Oh my god! How did you get this? Quest Buy shut down years ago!" gasped Marco.
"I bought it the last time we went. When you weren't looking at the last shelf of wallets, I used my wand to grab one," smiled Star. Marco hugged Star and she hugged him back.

Star skipped back into the palace and Marco sighed happily.
"Why didn't you do it then?" asked Eclipsa, hurrying out of the bush.
"Because... I was too in the moment of receiving this wallet!" he whined happily.
"Oh Marco. Poor helpless Marco!" smiled Eclipsa sadly. Marco sensed that she was wishing Globgor was with her.
"He will be out soon. I mean, sure it's been years but I promise, you and him will be together eventually," sighed Marco, giving her a hug.
"Oh Marco. I just wish Meteora could meet her father," she whimpered.
"Speaking of her, where is the little rascal?" asked Marco, breaking the hug.
"With Glossaryk. Learning her dip down lessons," she chuckled.

All of a sudden, a random Mewman jumped out from the bushes and jumped onto Marco. They fell to the floor and within instants, the Mewman cut both Marco's arms off.

Marco winced in utter pain and Eclipsa used a spell to remove the Mewman.
"Marco!" She screamed. Marco let a tear fall from his eye and the next thing he knew, he was in a hospital bed.

"Prince Marco?" asked a man.
"W-What happened?" groaned Marco.
"There has been a great tragedy today. A rebel Mewman cut your arms off. Unfortunately, you now have monster arms. You are part monster as the arms gave you monster DNA," the Doctor explained.

Marco let a tear fall as he stretched his arms in front of him to see. The door burst open and Star ran to his side.
"Oh Marco. My sweet Marco!" she cried, hugging him.
"You won't love me now! I'm a monster," he whimpered.
"Oh Marco I'll always love you. Remember I did date a demon," she chuckled, thankful he was alive.

Two days later...

"Marco," said Moon. Marco and Moon were alone in the dining room. Star was with Eclipsa babysitting Meteora and River was in the bedroom.
"Moon, I've been delaying it but I'm planning on proposing to Star," he whispered.
"Marco. Until Meteora comes of age, I am second in line to the throne. You know this, right?" informed Moon.
"Of course your majesty," smiled Marco, clueless to where this was going to.

"Well, being next in line gives me privileges. As you know, correct?" she said.
"Yeeessss?"
"Well, as a privilege of that, I'm banishing you," she said sternly, staring at his arms the whole time.
"What?" gasped Marco.
"We cannot... I cannot allow a monster to marry into the throne," she said disgusted.
"But I'm part monster! And it's just the arms!" he protested. "Besides, me and Star are in love. She'll love me no matter what I look like!"
"You have monster DNA in you. Therefore, if you have not left by sundown, I will send the guards to execute you," she ordered.
"But..."
"And you are not to tell Star!" she added and walked out of the dining room.

"No," he whispered sadly.

After sundown, Marco had left Mewni and was headed for a monster village.

Two months later...

Marco used a bow and arrow to kill the Mewman who entered the village.
"Filthy Mewman," he scoffed, staring down at the body.
"Sir, we are ready to declare war on the Mewmans," informed Tyrant.
"Excellent. And where are we in resurrecting Toffee?" asked Marco, beginning to write a note.
"Very close sir," informed Tyrant.
"And making Ludo even more evil than he was?"
"Easier than we thought sir," informed Tyrant.
"Excellent," started Marco as he finished the note and attached it to the arrow in the Mewman's dead body.

Tyrant held a horse and Marco lifted the body and put it over the horse. Using a spell, Marco put the destination into the horse's head.

"We'll meet again very soon... Moon," smirked Marco.
