+Jack's POV+

I growled, "Felix leave us alone." Felix snarled and lashed his tail. "You had to follow simple rules! Simple rules that you broke 'cause you couldn't control your emotions." "I can control them! I just-" "You just what? Stop making excuses!" Felix interrupted as he leaped towards me. I dodged him and tried to claw at him. I don't want to hurt him.... Felix turned and clawed the side of my face. I winced and pinned him down. My claws gripped down on his throat. I tried to not draw blood but I was too angry and upset at him.

"Mind your own business Felix" I hissed as I got off of him. I backed off and Felix stood up. Suddenly he lunged and bit down hard on my shoulder. I yelped and clawed at Felix. I felt Felix bite deeper into my shoulder. I groaned in pain and used my back legs to kick him off of me. Felix rolled in the dirt and got up. I got up and turned to see my bloody shoulder. I watched as the pack watched Felix and I. "Felix stop it!" Marzia yelled as she was still in her human form. I glanced at Alia who had her ears folded down. I then turned to the rock ledge and saw Mark and Amy sitting there. What an alpha Mark is...

Felix raced towards me. I ducked and winced in pain. Felix took that opportunity to attack. He raked his claws down my sides then pressed down on my throat. "Felix...st..op...." I gasped. He didn't listen. I tried to claw at him but nothing was working. Alia! Ethan! Anyone, help me! I blinked and saw a branch around Felix's throat. He whimpered and started shaking his body. I gasped for air and sat up.

As Felix jumped around, I saw a small body holding on to the branch arouns his throat. He landed on his back but y/n rolled away in time. She kept a hold of the branch and glared at Felix. He chuckled, "Jack are you kidding me? Having a human come and save your ass? You don't deserve to be in this pack." I growled and stood up. My sides and shoulder stung in pain. Y/n raced over to my side and pointed the branch at Felix. Felix gave a toothy grin and leaped for y/n. I stood in front of her and protected her. I braced for impact but nothing happened.

+Y/n's POV+

I watched as the golden wolf charged us. Jack stood in front and covered me. We stood like this for awhile before Jack looked up. I brushed some of his fur aside and saw the alpha pinning the golden wolf down. He growled and barked in the wolf's face. I watched as a girl raced over to the golden wolf. The golden wolf got away from the alpha and transformed to a human. "Felix why didn't you listen to me?!" The girl said grabbing his wrists.

Jack collapsed to the ground and turned to a human. His sides were bleeding while his shoulder revealed a deep bite mark. I dropped the branch and sat on my knees next to him. A black wolf trotted over to me and looked me up and down. It changed to a human. She had long black hair and was in a black sports bra and black spanks. "Do you have any bandages out here?" I asked her. "In the cabin" she answered with no emotion. The dark brown wolf turned and raced in to the forest. I groaned and ripped my right long sleeved shirt. I wrapped it around Jack's shoulder. He squinted his eyes shut and hissed in pain.

I ripped my other sleeve and applied it on his shoulder. The girl knelt beside me. "Why are you helping him?" She questioned. I stared at Jack. His eyes remained shut while his breathing slowed down. I couldn't do anything about his sides until someone gave me bandages. "Because he risked his life to save me. He's done so much for me and I want to return the favor by helping him out" I answered. The dark brown wolf returned with a first aid kit. It dropped the kit next to me and stared. "Thank you" I said as I opened it.

I cleaned Jack's wounds and put the bandage wrap on his sides. For some reason I didn't care that I was surrounded by werewolves. All I cared about was if Jack was going to be okay. I mean the whole werewolf thing is pretty scary but they were born this way. They can't control they're genes to make them not werewolves. The dark brown wolf changed into a man. "We can get Jack to the underground cave. It'll be best so he can rest" he said. I nodded and helped the man lead Jack into the cave. We placed Jack on the ground and he groaned in pain.

A bark echoed in the cave. Ethan turned around then to me. "Mark's calling for you." "Mark? Me?" I questioned. He nodded and pointed at the midnight black wolf. I slowly walked to the alpha and he turned away. I followed him to his cave and stood by the enterance. The black wolf turned into a man. He had black hair and dark brown eyes. He was in black boxers and his muscles...damn. I shook my head and looked at the ground. "Y-you asked for me?" I questioned still not looking at him.

"What do you think about us?" He asked sharply. "....At first I was scared 'cause I thought you guys were gonna kill me like the wolves from this morning but that didn't matter afterwards when Jack got hurt. I was more focussed on him than him being a werewolf" I explained. I heard footsteps grow close and a hand grabbed my chin. Mark forced me to look him in the eyes. "You're not gonna head back to the city and report on us are you?" He growled. I grabbed his wrist and pulled it away from my face. "No! Why the hell would I do that?"

Mark crossed his arms and looked at the rock flooring. "Scientists and researchers have hunted us for eons and killed our kind or took our family members away for experiments. We lost one of our pack members a few weeks ago and I can't help but blame myself" he said. He walked to the rock ledge and looked over his pack. I stood beside him. "But I'm not like those people-" Mark cut me off. "You don't seem like one but I can't trust you. You and Jack seem...somewhat close but I don't know if I should let you go." What? I want to go home! "But...but I want to go home. I want to go back to the city!" I said.

Mark faced me and stared me down. I stared at him right back. I don't care if you're the alpha. I just want to get out of here and head to my home. I want to see my family again. "I'm sorry. I can't let you leave until I fully trust you" Mark answered. He turned away and transformed into his wolf form while I stood there hoping to believe this was all a dream.
