Cupcake Boy

It started towards the beginning of freshman year, the beginning of high school when everything was new and being in high school was terrifying. 

Harley was walking with friends, they were all trying to distract themselves from the loads of homework they had just been assigned in their World History class. There was one thing Harley knew could get teenage girls excited, it's food. So Harley began telling her friends about  how she felt that cupcakes could make everything better. The minute she started talking, her eyes lit up and all of her friends started squealing about their favorite baked goods. 

Alex was standing at his locker, watching her and her friends with great interest. Alex and Harley had been in the same class since they were kids, but they very rarely said anything to each other. He had been hopelessly in love with her since then basically, but he never had the courage to tell her. It had also always been impossible to get Harley alone, she was always with people or running from one meeting to another.  When he heard this he was determined to make sure she had a great week, no matter what.

 He had never planned for it to continue all the way to their senior year without finally telling her how he felt, but here they are, senior year and Harley still has no clue he's the one who puts the baked goods in her locker. 

The first few times, Harley was weirded out by the mysterious baked goods that were in her locker, but her best friend, Levon, has convinced her they were safe. Levon of course, knew it was Alex who left the cupcakes. He caught him once, but Alex has no clue he was standing down the hallway watching him put the cupcake in the locker. But now, as she's about to graduate, she wants more than anything to know who cupcake boy is.

Alex was immediately out of the running, because he worked at a cupcake shop and Harley thought that was too cliche.

But will she realize that it really is a cliche? The boy who works at the cupcake shop is her cupcake boy.
