Propane Nightmares

ACT 02: MELODY

As they casually chat, 3 members stepped into the room. The three sitting look up.

“Oh hey guys! The new member just arrived!” Otrua stands to his feet.

One of the unfamiliar faces held a girl closer to him.

“Oh is the bandage guy the new one?” a girl with a cat beanie looks over at Eyeris. His demon like tail twitched from the remark.

“Yes! This is Eyeris Kuura! Go ahead and introduce yourselves guys” Eyeris stands up and approaches them to shake their hands.

The girl with the cat beanie shook his hand first, she smiled a sweet smile.

“Hi there! I'm Homaru Teito!” Eyeris grins.

“Nice to meet you Homaru”

“Be careful Eyeris!” Otomi exclaimed. Eyeris jumped a little and looked back at her.

“Eh!?”

“That girl is a psycho!” Otomi winked. Homaru giggled.

Despite her remark she was very pretty to Eyeris. She had beautiful long white flowy hair, bright, captivating red eyes and a little grey bow just below the base if her neck.

“Oh hush Queen!” the two girls giggled. Eyeris then looked over at the two standing close together.

“Hey there Eyeris, I'm Suruka Heruki! And this is my precious little sister Kibuki Mayano!” Suruka rubs her head gently.

Suruka and Kibuki both had black hair and red eyes, Suruka wore a dress shirt and red tie, flower petals seem to fall from his mouth and one of of his eyes that had a large red flower clogging the socket.

Kibuki wore a sweater but it was not on her completely as it was only down to her elbows, it was grey-red with a pink heart in the middle she even had a red bow in her hair.

The new members were definitely interesting.

“Alright, now that everyone's here! We can explain what we do as a group together!” Otrua ushers everyone to the round table.

“Oh Otomi your with us now?...I thought you said your plan to escape was foolproof” Kibuki muttered softly.

Otomi nervously laughed.

“Heh...nah it failed…” Otomi adjusted her school uniform collar nervously.

Otrua cleared his throat.

“So, as you'd expect. From the name Night Explorers, we explore stuff at night!” Otrua started.

“But it isn't as simple as that!” interjected Homaru.

“We explored places that are rumored to be connected with cults and dark rituals!” Otomi did a little hand gesture as she spoke.

“That sounds...dangerous!” Eyeris says nervously.

“It isn't really unless if were caught!” chuckled Suruka.

“You still in Eyeris?” Otrua asked.

“Yes of course!” he quickly replied.

“Great! Your first adventure with us begins at 00:8 tonight! Alright? Meet up here!” said Otrua.

“Got it!”

“Ooo this will be so fun! I wonder where we'll go tonight!?” Homaru’s expression just spoke excitement.

Then the bell chimes throughout the school.

The club members parted ways and headed to their scheduled classes. The rest of the day wasn't too interesting to Eyeris, he was too focused thinking about the club, and the girls too of course.

The final bell struck.

Eyeris grabbed his stuff and headed out of the school, mentally preparing himself for what's to come tonight.

Eyeris didn't have much to do outside of school, other than just to home to his parents.

He told them about the club and they were hesitant for a moment but decided to let him go anyways. As the hours ticked on it was currently 23:7, Eyeris get a ready to head out the door.

He stops by the local caffeine stand to get himself a cup before heading to the high school.

He walks into the club room and is greeted by the others.

“Are you ready Eyeris!?” Otrua shouts eagerly.

“More than ever!”

“Great! Here's the exploration of the night!” Otrua flips the whiteboard on the other side to reveal a crudely drawn map and some writing surrounding it.

“We will be exploring the building down the road that has been burned down and left to rot for many years! It's rumored to the the ideal location for sacrifices”

The girls gasped.

“Wow! This'll be exciting!” Homaru looked way too excited.

“Let's go already!” Otomi jumps up from her seat.

“Yes let's go! But be careful the building might be unstable!” the group begins to head out on Eyeris’s first night exploration.

The lamps were not lit up and the sky was somehow even darker.
