Little girl
Left alone
Crying sober
And stagnant fears
Little girl
On the door step
All doors locked
All curtains drawn
All silences renowned
Little girl
With the stationed mind
Dead set on finding a key
But only finding gravity
To drag her to her knee
Little girl
Hopping down the steps
But never reaches the bottom
For puddles obstruct her path
And her boots seem to relapse
Little girl
Climbing the clouds
Alone tonight
Mourning tomorrow
For the tide of void is yet to come
Little girl
In the blackened stage
Performing life
With a smile
Little girl
Holding hands
With a noose
Little girl
Dagger in hand
And wrists on show
Little girl
Wrong time
Wrong day
Wrong hope
Wrong trial
Wrong life
Wrong world
Left alone
Little girl
Finds a new home
In another
Image
Mirror
Painting
Of a fucked up
Society.
