AUBRIELLE ROSE
"Stupid idiot!" My boyfriend Roah's fist slammed into the wall less than half an inch from my face, causing me to jump. "How could anyone be so stupid?!"
I stood there, hands at my waist, tears rolling down my cheeks and stammered an apology.
"Oh you're sorry? Well that just makes everything better now doesn't it?" He said sarcastically.
I kept my head down, not making eye contact, knowing it'd just infuriate him more. Go to your happy place. Go to your happy place.
He grabbed me by my chin. "Get out of my face." He threw my head away from him, obviously disgusted with me.
CRACK!
My skull collided with the door frame of his bedroom and I went down. Hard.
"Get up you worthless idiot." He growled, kicking me.
I dizzily fought my way to my knees much slower than he liked. I felt like I was going to pass out.
"I said," Roah grabbed me by my hair. "Get. Up." Yanking me up by my hair, he shoved me out of the room and slammed the door behind him.
I landed on my side in the hallway, the coolness of the wood floor against my cheek. Gingerly I touched the side of my head that collided with the frame. My hand came away covered in blood.
Ok. Not a huge deal. Head wounds bleed a lot more than regular wounds even when it's minor. First step is cleaning it up.
I staggered to my feet and made it a few steps down the hall to the bathroom before I fell again. Having no other option, I crawled to the bathroom, stopping once to let my dizziness subside.
Grabbing the edge of the sink, I pulled myself up. Dizziness almost overpowered me and I fought to keep my food down, grabbing the edge of the sink to save myself from falling as my knees gave out.
Breathe Aubri breathe.
Locking my knees, I grabbed a washcloth and ran it under cold water with one hand, the other still death gripping the sink just in case.
DING-DONG
I sat the cloth on the edge of the sink and grabbed ahold of the wall, slowly making my way down the hall.
DING-DONG "Aubri?!"
I slowly made my way through the kitchen and finally made it to the living room.
Knock knock. "Hey Aubri!! It's me!"
I opened the door, leaning heavily on it and gave a faint smile. It was my best friend, Gian, he grinned at me. "Hey sorry I was-"
"In my room. We were having sex." Roah said, wrapping his arm around my waist, cutting me off mid sentence.
Gian's smile faded away. "Cool." He turned and looked at me, smile returning. "I came to pick you up for dinner. Our reservation is at 5."
"Give me a few minutes to get ready and we can go." I told him, moving to pull away from Roah.
"No." His arm tightened around me. "You're staying here."
"What but you said I could go..." he whirled around to glare at me. "I'm sorry it's just you told me that I was able to go and you didn't have a problem with it."
"Well now I do."
I sighed. "I'm sorry I can't come." I told Gian sadly.
"What not that's not fair." Gian turned to Roah. "You can't forbid her to go out to eat. She's not your property."
"She's my girlfriend that means I have the say in where she goes and where she doesn't and who she hangs out with. I said no. She's not going"
"I say she gets to make the decision herself." He turned to me. "Do you want to come Bri?"
"Of course I do."
"Then go get dressed." Gian pointed towards Roah's room.
"I said no." Roah glared at me.
"And I told her to get dressed" Gian crossed his arms over his chest.
"She's MY girlfriend and I said no." Roah released me and took a step closer to Gian.
Gian took a step towards Roah. "I told her to get dressed. Now you either let her go get dressed or she can come to dinner as is."
"She's not going anywhere." Roah got up in Gian's face.
It was funny to see I had to admit. Gian had 5 inches on Roah. Gian was 6'3" and had arms the size of my head. Roah was 5'9" and was big but not muscle wise.
"Aubri, go get dressed." Gian said, eyes still locked on Roah.
"Aubri if you leave to get dressed you might as well pack your bags." Roah yelled.
I tentatively walked up to Roah and put my hand on his shoulder. "Can I please see you in the other room."
He glared at Gian and followed me to the kitchen. "You're not going so don't even ask"
"Please. It's dinner. That's all. I promise I'll be back soon please. I'll do anything please." I begged him.
Roah sighed. "Your ass had better be in my bed by 7 not a second later do you hear me?"
"I will be I promise. Thank you." I turned to walk away but he grabbed my arm.
"You better be prepared to make good on your end of the deal." He told me. "You're going to make it up to me tonight." He looked me up and down. "Multiple times."
I swallowed hard. This is going to hurt me. "I will. I promise"
"Good. Better hurry. Clock's ticking" he said letting me go.
I walked out to the living room where Gian was leaning against the door frame. "Can you come?"
I smiled. "Yes. Give me a couple minutes and we can go."
I slowly headed back to the spare room and opened the closet. I grabbed a random t-shirt and a pair of shorts. I turned and almost screamed. Roah was behind me. He grinned.
"You can fulfill part of your deal now." He unzipped his pants.
Sighing, I swallowed hard and got on my knees. Let's go fast and get it over with.
