Chapter 4

3rd Person POV

[All the girls glared at each other as they sat in the café]

Enju: What are you, guys, doing here? I was supposed to show him around the school.

Lily: I wasn't going to let you do that alone. I am your body guard after all.

Enju: You don't have to follow me everywhere. You just want to make sure that I don't get a lead.

Tengge: Isn't that we're all here? To make sure that no one gets a lead?

Enju: That is true.

Nanao: Honestly, I don't understand why you girls think you have a chance. JP and I have more in common than any of you.

Yamabuki: I wouldn't be so sure! He and I have a lot in common as well if more.

Myu: I deserve to be with JP-senpai. I've grown up.

Ricka: Objection. Doesn't mean anything. That only means you can't compete with us now. You still have a long way to go though.

Myu: Ricka-senpai! That's mean!

Cy: Do you girls want to have a competition now? I could monitor his heart rate.

[Just then, another girl named Hotaru walks in]

Hotaru: Hello, girls. Fancy seeing you here!

Nanao: Give it a rest, Hotaru. We all know you came here because JP is here.

Akari: Why is everyone talking about JP?

[Everyone is silent]

Enju: Akari, why do you think we're talking about JP?

Akari: Because he's been gone a long time. It's not like you all like him or something.

[The rest of the girls glare at Akari]

Akari: Wait! You all do?

Enju: What competition do you think we were talking about?

Ricka: Suggestion. Remove Akari from the competition since she is very late and has no possible chance of winning.

Akari: That's not fair! I deserve a fair shot as well!

[All of the girls keep arguing until JP returns]

JP: You girls are lively today. Any reason?

[The girls look at each other]

Yamabuki: We're just happy that you're back!

JP: Thank you, girls. I'm glad to be back. Anyway, I'm still jetlagged from the flight. I'm heading to my dorm.

Enju: I can take you if you want!

JP: Thanks, Enju, but I'll manage.

[Enju growls while the rest of the girls smile]

JP POV

[I make it to my room. I need to rest. I'm so tired. Seeing the girls again was nice though. Anyway, I haven't seen Johnny yet. Does he know that I'm back? Well, it doesn't matter. I remove my shirt and get set for bed. As I'm about to drift off to sleep, I hear my window open and see a person climb in. I stand up in my defense mode and turn on the light. It's Yamabuki]

Yamabuki: Hey there, JP!

JP: Yamabuki? What are you doing here? You can't be here?

Yamabuki: Don't tell me that you aren't happy with a pretty girl in your room. Want to have some fun?

JP: No. I'm not a pervert.

Yamabuki: You don't have to be pervert to have fun.

JP: I already know that you won't leave so what fun did you have in mind?

Yamabuki: We could just talk the night away!

JP: I already told you that I'm too tired for that.

Yamabuki: Fine. We can sleep in your bed.

JP: You're not sleeping in my bed.

Yamabuki: You'll make a lady sleep on the floor?

JP: No. I'll sleep on the floor. You can sleep in the bed. You leave at first light.

Yamabuki: Whatever you say.

[I turn off the light and get on the floor to sleep]

Yamabuki POV

[This could've gone better but I'm making progress. He knows me so well. I wasn't going to leave. He looks so cute when he sleeps. Well, time to make another move. I get out of the bed and snuggle right beside him. I wrap my arms around him. He's so warm. I kiss him on the cheek. He seems to laugh and smile in his sleep. I can only hope he's dreaming about me. I've really missed you, JP. I'm so glad you're back]
