Minji lay in her bed that night, clutching the covers up to her chin, staring wide-eyed at the ceiling. Her face was clearly expressing the distress she was feeling inside. The words, "What have I just done" kept running through her mind at break-neck speeds.

She had, indeed, just invited two men to move in with her.

Two. Men.

Two men, that if she were to be completely forthright, she did not even know. The thought occurred to her that she should definitely begin questioning her decisions more, as any responsible adult would do.

Her gaze shot through the dark to rest on the door that was directly across from hers, the door that led to the room the two men would be occupying. Her hands released their death-grip on the covers and instead gripped at her chest. Her heart was thumping.

Had she been so blinded by possible success that she had lowered her own personal guard down to a dangerously low level? Perhaps it was time to invest in some self-defense classes she had - up to this point - felt were unneeded.

She snatched her phone off the nightstand and entered her passcode, then pulling up her message app. Hitting the convo with Namjoon, she typed a new message.

"Are you positively sure about these guys?"

"Minji, you realize it's twelve a.m.?"

Minji's hand flew to her mouth and then she quickly typed a response.

"I'm so sorry, Joon! I didn't even look at the time. But seriously, are you sure these guys won't do something?"

"If by 'do something' you mean attack you in your most vulnerable moments, or kidnap the twins, or steal all your valuables then burn down your home? Then no, I'm not sure."

Minji felt all of the air had been sucked out of her lungs. Her hands began to tremble and she bolted upright in her bed.

"I don't even have to be there to know you're probably hyperventilating right now. You know I'm joking right? Just giving you a hard time because your message woke me up. No, Minji, these two are as harmless as they come. Stop worrying. Jin and Taehyung would never hurt a fly. Would I send someone dangerous to work with you? What kind of friend do you think I am?"

Minji flopped back down onto her pillow, her hair spilling across it. Namjoon was right. He would never knowingly put her or the twins in danger.

"You're right. I'm sorry, Namjoon. For waking you up and doubting you. It's just, well, I hired Jin to be a nanny to the boys and then I guess I got a little carried away and asked he and Taehyung to move into my house."

"You...what?! Park Minji! Are you out of your ever loving mind?! Why would you ask two single guys to move in with you?! And Jin as a nanny?! A literal manny?! Wait...do you realize your comic is about a manny? Hold up."

Minji frowned as she read his message. This was the sort of response she should probably get used to as more people found out her living situation. She would either have to be constantly embarrassed of her decision or choose to own it.

"Okay, look, this could be good inspiration for you. Also, I still stand by my previous statement that they wouldn't do a thing to hurt you. However, they are guys. So, be smart, okay? I would hate to lose two friends because they hurt my best friend. Understand? Just...be smart, Minji."

Minji's eyes stung with tears from the emotional roller coaster she had just been on. Her friend was the best.

"Namjoon, you're the best friend a girl could have. I mean that. Thanks for putting my mind at ease. I'm sure everything will work out alright. Sleep well."
