Tuesday, the day's classes accomplished, an hour and a half until you had to see her.

For the past hour, all you've been doing is lounging in your bed. Your ID and sneakers were still clinging to your body, and your jeans were digging into your thighs, but quite frankly, you could care less.

As long as your phone didn't ring, you decided to stay away from it. It seemed petty to avoid seeing Jolina on social media before seeing her in person, but that's exactly what you were doing. To you it was to get rid of additional build up; maybe it was just to lessen how kilig you (non-admittedly) already were.

When about 30 minutes were left, you got off the bed and headed straight for your bathroom to freshen up.

You finally took off your ID and hung it on your bathroom door knob, and examined yourself in the mirror.

"Tutor session, hindi study date." You nodded to yourself in the mirror like an insane person.

All you decided to do was brush your hair and gargle some mouth wash; then, you were set. 15 minutes were left, so you decided to leave. You clad yourself in a faded blue denim jacket, slung your backpack over your shoulder, stuck your keys in your pocket, turn out the lights, and headed out.

You couldn't help the butterflies swarming through your stomach as you walked down the street towards your destination. It was barely a 5 minute walk, but it felt like forever.

You walked into coffee and pastries filling your senses, hypnotizing the aforementioned butterflies to growl for food. Your eyes scanned the barely-filled shop, though not expecting Jolina to be there; after all, it wasn't time for that just yet.

An empty table featuring two soft-looking sofa chairs caught your eye. The chairs were isolated in a corner near the bathrooms.

You streamlined towards the table, setting your bag down by your legs, heart beating rapidly in anticipation, suddenly feeling painstakingly aware of your surroundings.

You pulled out your phone, clicking on Jolina's message thread. The time was 4:08, so you thankfully didn't feel like you were pressuring her into hurrying up. You just wanted to let her know you were there already.

Hello :) I'm here already.

Just as you sent the message, you realized how much you sounded like a Grab driver.

You rolled your eyes at yourself, almost wanting the seat below you to swallow you whole.

To pass time, and partially to distract yourself, you brought your laptop out and opened it, in preparation for your companion's arrival.

That was when your phone began to vibrate against your pocket.

It was Jolina.

You should have been expecting this, but that didn't stop your emotions from running and thrumming through your body.

Hastily, you accepted the call.

"Hello?" You tried to hide the nerves in your shaky voice.

Her ever-so-smooth voice overtook your eardrum. "Hi, uh, nasa may entrance ako, 'di kita makita."

Of course she couldn't; not only were you facing away, but you were also hidden from plain sight.
