Azari
Making our way there, I have a sudden burst of energy. I think it is from the fact that Mr Norwood thinks that we would be the best people. I just hope that the new kid doesn't turn out to be those silent but deadly people. Not in that way, you get what I mean. Sadie squeezes my hand, which brought me back to reality. "Hey, you okay darling?" I nod and give her a genuine smile. We make our way to science twenty minutes early and make our way to our usual seats. Sadie takes off my bag and pulls out my work book and my computer for me. My science work book has little bumps on it to help me distinguish letters from each other in the alphabet. I also have this computer that my dad helped to make. The keys also have little bumps on them which makes it very helpful as I don't want to have something listening to my voice the entire time- it get boring after a while.
"So sugar, how do you think the new kid is going to react with you being blind?" Sadie's voice was a little muffled as she is most likely in her bag getting her stuff. "To be honest, I have no idea, I just hope he takes it well and smartly like I would want him to. Remember when we joined freshman year a bit late and this one kid wondered why I had my cane with me, when my eyes looked perfectly normal?"
"Oh yeah, he just had to ask the dumbest questions. If someone has a white damn cane tapping in the school, you should know that person is fucking blind!" I giggled a bit at that. "True, however, I thought they were all going to ask dumb questions or questions that I'm uncomfortable with like: oh how long have you been blind? Or did someone have to get you ready for school or something?" I say. Otherwise that quite dumb one, everyone seemed to understand me. This school of what I've noticed, doesn't take things personally. I mean there are some people in school who are part of the LGBT+ Community and no one has any complaints, which makes a lot of people feel accepted in school- and I respect that. People started to gather up in the classrooms by the sound of chatter and chairs scraping.
"Morning Azari." Two voices calmly confronted me in sync. The most likely people to be like this are the Carmel twins, Demi and Damien. Demi is the older twin by a ten minute time difference. She is a mix of Autumn and Sadie. She is also obsessed with BL but she has that sass and boldness that Sadie has she is very loud at times but I love her for it; it makes her unique in her own way. And there is Damien, he is the opposite of Demi. He is very quiet and only interacts from time to time. He is my lil' gay bro, he has had a boyfriend before but he ended up cheating on Damien. It broke his poor heart. I have never heard him cry that hard, he loved him with all of his heart and now he's scared to fall in love now. My poor baby.
"Morning Demi. Morning Damien." I smile as I hear the chairs in front of me scrape, my breath hitches as I can only think of the person that sits in front of me. Blaze Zander. He his the definition of a living nightmare in my opinion. This dude prances around the school halls with his team. This includes: Kade O Brian, the brains, Nash Dickson, his name may sound funny but he has the shortest temper out of all of them. The slightest thing makes him explode. Then there is Asher Hill, we all think he's bipolar, because he'll be laughing at one moment then he'll be ready to kill you and burn your body to hide the evidence the next. The final one that is involved with Blaze Zander is Zev Tyson. All I know about him, is that his is a negative person who is feared by everyone not that it makes a difference with the others, but I'm told it's the look that he has on his face. He doesn't take no for an answer and is often sent to the Principle's office quite often but has never been expelled--just suspended. I've heard from other people that he's got anger problems or something along them lines.
It still doesn't change the fact that these guys are completely bad news. "Hey B.B! You still can't see nothing? Such a shame." B.B, Blind Bitch. I don't understand why people think it's okay just pick on others that have disabilities. "Yo Dick. Go suck one since that seems to be the way you go, closet asshole." Sadie speaks up. She is always there to defend me when I need her to. I can't really argue with people because the last time that happened I was pushed onto the road and a a car ran over my leg, since I fell sideways to try and make my fall less painful. I guess luck wasn't on my side that day. No matter, I'm over that now as it's just a distant memory. "Did I recall speaking to you princess? No? Correct. I was talking to B.B over here." Nash has this crush on Sadie because she always put up a fight to protect me. However, Sadie rejected Nash every time he asked her out.
"What is it Nash?" I was not in the mood to deal with his crap way of talking. I mean I had to deal with these boys since freshman year; so it's getting old and boring now. I still have a slight fear of them but it wasn't as bad as before where I was shaking violently every time I heard their voices. "Give me your study notes." What? Am I hearing this correctly? "Seriously?" I asked, confused.
"No." Nash laughs. Suddenly I feel my head being tilted back as water is poured onto my face. I cough as I felt the water go in my lungs. I feel light taps on my back as I continued to cough. A few people in the class were laughing at this situation but the rest was just silent. "How's that fag?!" I gasped for air as I finished my small coughing fit, and slowly moved my left hand looking for Sadie's pencil case. Once I found it I find it's already open and I dig my hand in it looking for a glue stick. I pulled it out of her pencil case and placed it on the table. "What are you going to do with th-" Nash's sentence was cut off short as I launched the glue towards him, not knowing where I hit him. This time the whole class erupted into laughter and this made me feel more proud of myself.
"Alright settle down now class." The science teacher, Mr Carter yelled to quiet the class. "Nash get up off the floor and sit in your chair." I chucked at the fact that he was on the floor. "Turn to page 53, write down notes and answer the questions for the next test."
