I walked into school with a smile for the first time since first grade. And for the first, in a long time, I was happy. I wore bright, neon clothes just like Emmy and cute, little pigtails tied up in perfect little bows just like I used to wear in kindergarden.
When I walked in, the first thing I saw were Emmy's neon shoes. I looked up to find Emmy waving at me and patting the seat next to her franticly. I beamed as I took my seat next to her.
