Chapter 2

Damn it's been awhile a long ass while ..

- Chapter Dos -

There's something about her that makes her different. But what is it? It's been almost two weeks and she's still my friend.

This has been a really nice time, barely anyone comes along and makes fun of me. Yes it still happens but not as much.

Kate has been there to defend me and since then it's been really different, as I said before.

Maybe I'm wrong about her, there is one side where I believe she's different and that she doesn't care about my social standings.

Then the other half I feel like this is all a big giant joke and that once I've fallen for her spell then she'll shatter my happiness in a horrible way.

"Jason, buddy?" I heard someone say as they snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked over to Ralph that looked at me with a worried look. "Yeah?" I answered as I put a spoonful of cereal in my mouth. "You should be careful being around with that Kate girl, you know that those rich people always want to embarrass us" Ralph said as I frowned. I swallowed my cereal.

"But I feel like she's different" I said as I kept eating my cereal. Ralph sighed as he gave me a sympathetic look. I sighed.

"Jason, just be careful. I don't want you getting hurt" Ralph said as I nodded. I finished my cereal and began to wash my bowel and spoon.

"I will, anyways do you know when Alex is coming back?" I asked as Ralph shook his head. I looked down and nodded. I really missed him, it really hasn't been the same since he left. "Well I'll see you later I'm heading to school" I said as I grabbed my book bag. I put on my old black converse and headed to another day at school.

I smiled as I have realized that I finally found a friend. A friend who doesn't care about my social standings. Finally someone who sees me as me, not as a poor boy.

I saw my school up ahead. I smiled as I picked a flower from the ground. Kate will love it. I noticed a really big group of people in a circle. As I kept walking I kept getting closer to it.

"I can't believe he actually fell for it" A familiar voice said as I finally made it to the circle. It sounded like Kate. I pushed through the group. I heard whispers happening as I paused through people.

"As if I wanted to be his friend" I heard as my smile fell from my face as I made it to the center. I saw Kate sitting on the bench of the school, she was surrounded by the people who love to make my life a living hell.

"He's just worthless to everyone, no one needs him or his dirty family. They can't amount to anything even if they tried" Kate said as someone tapped her indicating that I'm here. I felt tears form from my eyes as I dropped the flower from my hands.

"You fucking bitch" I said as I clenched my jaw. She laughed as the others joined with her.

"Jason your so damn gullible. Who would even want to be friends with a good for nothing person like yourself" one of the group members said as I clenched my fist. Rage is trying to get ahold of me but I didn't let it.

I shook my head as I pushed through the crowd to get the hell away.

"I'll show them all what I can do. I can become as rich as them" I said to myself as I walked into the school building.

They won't bring me down, I will show them that I'm not a good for nothing. I'll show them all.

I kinda changed the concept of this book. This isn't a love story nope it's a story about Jason being determined to achieve what he wants.

The next chapter or the one after will most likely be the end of this story d:
