Mermaid's Song

Across the Shore of glittering shells,
And seafoam that shines,
You can hear the Mermaid's Song softly arise.
They sing to Me and Sailors,
Out upon the Sea,
Telling of good deeds of Men,
That lost their lives at Sea.
Of Ships that rest upon the sand,
And of the Glory days of Then,
Of Jewels and Pirate Treasures,
No longer owned by Man.
Of glittering Tails of Royals,
And the Palace they call Home.
And of their wishes to see,
The place they cannot go.
