Reincarnated As A Goddess

The Before.

Allex was your average, everyday, young and introverted adult. She spent her days working towards success as a writer, while using the most of her time feeding farm animals, and searching for a job in town. Many of her friends lived in big city areas after graduating high school Today being Saturday, everyone in the Valkyr household was sleeping in for a few household. A rooster that lived on the land had started it's morning crow for the day, waking up Allex. The young woman slowly opened up her eyes, letting out a sleepy moan before stretching out across her bed. Gradually, Allex began to sit up, sliding her legs across to the side of her bed. Standing up, she started a yawn and began stretching again, rubbing her right eye. She walked past her chair, across her room, to get to her miniature refrigerator. Leaning down and opening up the door to it she pulled out a can of cold coffee. It was a new brand called Bold, a coffee flavored energy drink, the flavor she pulled out today was a chocolate vanilla.

Shaking the can slightly, Allex could hear her mother talking outside her room. She was speaking to Allex's siblibgs, Jake and Kota. It was hard to hear them clearly because they were on opposite sides of the house, but Allex didn't pay much attention to it. She cracked open the can and took a long sip. Her mother creaked the door open, "Allex, I got some donuts from the donut store, and even got some of those cinnamon cake donuts that you like as well."

"Thanks mom, I'll be out in a little bit," Allex replied. Allex's mother begane to close the door, "Go ahead and get ready for the day, remember you have an interview to go to later."

Allex gave a thumbs-up as she took another sip of her coffee. After the sip, she sighed nervously. It's been a few months since her last job interview. A voice crawled into her head, "What's to worry about Allex?"

A a faded form began to materialize in front of her, it was the goddess Gaia. She stood before her, covered in leaves and vines, she was partially naked, with a light tinge of green skin. Gaia's eyes held a rose pink sclera, and emerald green iris', with her long dark hair crowned by roses.

"Hey Gaia, I guess you could sense what I'm feeling, huh," Allex asked. The deity nodded her head in response. "Well, it has been a short time since I've gone to an interview, but I guess it's just that my nerves are on edge today. Other than that I am excited about getting to have one," Allex continued.

"I see. Well, you should be careful today. The air isn't right in town today," Gaia cautioned.

"And here you are asking about me worrying over things," Allex chuckled.

"Don't make me say I told you so later," Gaia told her before vanishing.

Allex thought for a moment about what could happen that day, but then shrugged it off and sat down her coffee. Walking over to her dresser, the young woman began to rummage through her drawers to find something nice to wear to the interview. Since she didn't have a closet, this was the best it was going to get. Pulling out a blue polo shirt, she compared it to a recently bought designer shirt styled as a business casual. Allex shrugged and threw the polo shirt back into the drawer. She then glossed over her pants to find a pair of black slacks. She pulled those out and prepared to get dressed. In only a few minutes, she came out of her room dressed nicely for the occasion. Walking through the living room towards the kitchen she greeted her brothers for the morning.

"Good morning Jake. Good morning Kota," she said.

In unison the both greeted back, "Good morning Allex."

Once in the kitchen, Allex saw her father grabbing a donut out of the box, "Good morning Allex. Did you sleep well?"

"Not really, pretty restless to be honest," Allex told him.
