A few days had passed, and I was getting better.

My speech was back to normal, and the doctor said that I should be fine now.

Catman saw how quiet I was, but that was part of my own personality.

He smiled as I watched him polish his drum set.

"Want to hang on these for me"?

The drummer held up his drumsticks.

That put a smile to my face, and it was an amazing change of progress.

Catman handed his drumsticks to me and I held each of them in my hands.

It felt like a surge of adrenaline moving through my body.

After quite some time, he took politely them back from me as he smiled.

As a little gift, he handed me a pair of my own drumsticks.

I now carry them with me everywhere I go.

When night came, I was exploring the park as the fans arrived through the gates of KISSWorld.

"Hey, who's that freak over there"?

A group of guys and girls about my age whispered to each other.

I heard them, but was too distracted by the sound of Catman's drum solo playing on the speakers.

It was a beautiful sound.

But right around then, the group grabbed onto my shoulders.

"What kind of a monster are you"?

The biggest one yelled at me in my face.

I didn't say anything, because I was too nervous and uncertain about the situation.

"Didn't you hear us, huh"?! "Are you deaf or something"?!

I shook my head and managed to spit out:

"No...I'm not".

Two of the girls snatched the drumsticks that Catman gave to me.

"You ain't supposed to be messing with the Catman's instruments, you know that right"?

I was still confused as ever.

Why are they being so mean to me?

A purple beam of light went through Starchild.

He immediately stopped what he was doing.

"What's wrong, Starchild"?

SpaceMan asked him as he stood up from sitting on the couch.

"It's (name)"...She's being harassed by a group of bullies".

The four of them went to my rescue.

I was struggling to run away.

The bullies were trying to break my drumsticks.

One of them pulled me by the ankle and that made me trip and fall.

Catman stood behind the group and SpaceMan confronted the bullies

He narrowed his eyes at them, and spoke in a disapproving voice.

"Why are you doing this to her"?

The bullies froze and quickly let go of me.

I stood up on my own, shaking nervously.

"We-we were just having fun....yeah! Just having fun"!

At that moment, Starchild and Demon arrived on the scene.

Luckily, my drumsticks were not broken or destroyed.

SpaceMan surely as heck didn't believe what they were telling him.

A gust of wind and some gray storm clouds formed in the sky.

And the lightning threatened to strike.
