Finn wandered around the hospital helplessly looking for anybody who could help him find the room his brother was currently resting in. He wasn't too worried about Nick though. He knew Nick usually got really bad fevers so it wasn't unusual for him to go to the hospital.
Once he made it to the room the lady at the front desk had told him to go into, he opened the door and immediately stopped as he noticed who was in the bed. It was a girl. Maybe around his age.
She had wires coming from her arms as she lay there sleeping. Finn couldn't help but notice the peacefulness shining on her face. She had a small smile on her face as her chest heaved up and down. Finn leaned against the doorway as he watched the unknown girl calmly in her sleep.
"that was the day I met y/n."
"I didn't know it then, but she was gonna be the love of my life."

Finn smiled as he saw Y/n play in the hospitals bed with her little sister as they watched a movie in the background. He couldn't help but smile yet again at her effortless looks. She could've been doing the most random things and yet Finn would still be drawn in by her natural beauty.
✯ After Finn had seen Y/n at the hospital he started to appear at the hospital more frequently even after Nick had been released. The nurses always smiled once they saw the boy and spoke about the young girl he would always come to visit.
Finn alway visited when she was asleep. He didn't know why, but he preferred to see her asleep peacefully than with him sounding like an idiot while she was awake.
The day he walked in to see her sat up in the hospital bed he introduced himself as best as he could and she never questioned as to why he was visiting her without even knowing her.
She had been intrigued by the looks of the teenage boy who the nurses would never stop talking about. Every morning once she woke up she would always hear the stories of the teenage boy who would visit her every night with no reason as to why he would do it.
"She would brighten up the room with the smallest smile she put on her face."

Finn smiled at the amazing memories he had with Y/n through the many short months he had spent with her. Tears began to brim his eyes threatening, to spill at any given moment.
His breath began to shake but he stood strong. The eyes of many people made him feel claustrophobic in a way, but he powered through it.
"She showed me that no matter what happens, to never give up on hope. Through many of her struggles she made sure that everyone around her felt no pity whatsoever and she would make sure that everyone was smiling through it all. Which is why she wouldn't want us to cry for her today. She would want us to leave this place smiling at all the good she did for this world."
Finn stopped to take a breath as he slowly looked up at and met eyes with countless of people.
"She's in a better place enjoying the rest of her life and all I ask for you today is to go and enjoy yours."
