Reason for quitting with rebels and joining selection: Torie had grown up with the southern rebels, completely unaware of what they had been doing. Since she was about eight, she had helped the southerners with their attack plans, thinking that the Royalty were monsters. She then found out when she was about eleven exactly what the southerners had been doing to innocent people. Disgusted, she had left the next day. She was an eight until a group of wonderful people-fives- took her in. She had always been good at ballet and learned to play the clarinet. She worked her way through the ranks of the worst in the orchestra to the first chair. She later joined the selection to make up for what she had done, and because she believes she knows the southerners all too well and would know how to put them down.
