Born in the City of Vampires in Molniya Kingdom, I lived there together with my mother. My life consisted of me mastering Elemental Magic through my mother's guidance.

After reaching 12, my mother decided that we would live in the Village of the Necromancers in Veter Kingdom. She said she was being called there. That was also the first time I learned that she was a necromancer. However, I was just a Human. At a young age, I had already known that I was adopted. Nevertheless, I still loved her, and would always treat her as my mother. As a precaution though, she told me to hide this secret and pretend that I'm a necromancer. She also cast a spell that would make my hair scarlet since her hair is also red.

Arriving at the place, we were quickly surrounded by people; they were the residents of the village. Almost all of them wear robes with some carrying a scepter just like what my mother made for me. It seemed my mother is popular. They were calling her a bunch of names and praises. But what stood the most was the word '1st Generation Necromancer.' Though I had no idea what that means.

Since I was at the right age, the Village Elders enrolled me to their Necromancy School. My mother rejected the idea at first, however, she couldn't go against the laws of the village; she had no choice but to comply. Because of this, my mother advised me to never use Elemental Magic in public.

Because of my background with magic, I learned Necromancy quickly. There were only a few differences between the two but I soon grasp the idea of it. I scored high in written tests of all of my subjects. Because of this, I became popular. I was so happy; I could make my mother proud.

However, everything changed when I reached senior high. Before reaching 16, the Immortal Blood within a necromancer still hasn't matured. That was why only after reaching this age, the teachers would permit us to use necromancy in action. Casting necromancy costs the Life Energy of the caster. A mature necromancer won't have a problem doing it due to their unlimited Life Energy. However, I was just a human. After casting a few spells, I would always collapse. At first, my teachers and friends would always console me telling maybe I still haven't matured yet. But I already knew that it was impossible for me. Because I was just a Human.

After countless of collapses...

After limitless failed tests...

After innumerable losing spars...

The trust of my teachers and friends eventually faded. Everyone called me a failure. Everyone except Aria and Thea. Among the numerous insults and bullying. The two of them protected me. We became friends. We became sisters. It gave me peace among the bullying that happened to me. However, there was something I couldn't tell them. That is, I was just a Human.

However, it didn't last long.

It was a school day when we heard a sudden explosion. Everyone panicked. It was a scene no one had expected. The teachers gave their all calming down everyone, but deep down they were also afraid. News then reached us. We were under attack by humans.

The teachers advised us to escape to the shelter which we did. Upon escaping I saw a student getting attacked in the field: it was Aria. Multiple enemy soldiers were also there, each carrying a gun ready to fire at her. My mind went blank, I immediately flew towards her and cast an earth barrier.

"Aria, are you okay?"

"Emily?" she replied, with her eyes wide.

Soon more soldier came. The students behind us shivered. We could die at any second. The number of soldiers were too many.

Suddenly, they threw grenades at us.

"Emily, never ever cast Elemental Magic in public." A certain memory.

I'm sorry, mother.

"Hurricane!!!"

A whirlwind appeared and sucked all of their grenades. It then exploded in the sky. But, the soldiers didn't give up. They then prepared their guns, ready to fire at us.

"Terra shield."

As gunshots started raining towards us, a wall of earth appeared blocking everything. The sounds of bullets everywhere were enough to slightly deafen anyone near the vicinity.

"Hurry up and get away! I'll protect all of you!"

Gunshots after gunshots were heard everywhere. I know that my shield would not last forever. Occasionally, I hear explosions coming from my shield. They were throwing grenades.

"Emily, I'll help!" It was Aria.

"Aria?"

She then raised her scythe and shot black lightning into the sky. Multiple bolts of black lightning soon came down freezing the soldiers as it hit. It was Aria's cursed lightning. I already knew her secret. It was the secret of us, three sisters.

However, she didn't know mine. I felt depressed. What kind of friend was I? She told me her precious secret, but I never told her mine. That, I was just a Human. She must've felt sad because of that.

"Aria, I'm so-" But I was stopped. Aria suddenly hugged me.

"Thank you, Emily, for saving me," she said.

"Ar...ia? You are... not angry?"

"Why would I get angry from someone who saved me?" she replied.

"Aria."

"Emily, Thea is still missing. We must find her before she is killed by humans." Aria announced.

"Okay, I'll fly and look her from the sky. Aria, look for her on the ground."

"Okay," she responded.

We then separated.

While flying, I saw my mother fighting an army, alone. They were everywhere, soldiers, tanks and mysterious flying humans surrounded by metal.

My mind went blank. I quickly landed and dashed towards her.

"Mother!!!" I shouted.

"Emily?! Look out!" She screamed, looking at me in horror.

While running, I didn't notice a missile flying towards my direction. I was too preoccupied looking at her.

"Emily!!!" Mother flew towards me before casting a barrier and hugging me. However, the explosion was too strong, the shield was shattered.

The smoke cleared, I saw mother lying on the ground, badly wounded, her bleeding wouldn't stop.

"Mother! Mother! Please be okay. Please, don't die." Tears dropped everywhere, crying like a baby, creating a small pond on the ground. "Please, please, don't leave me. Mother!"

"Emily," she muttered as she caressed my face. "I-I'm glad you're okay."

"Mother..."

"I'm so happy... to be your mother. I-I never regret everything I did." Her eyes closed; she stopped breathing.

"Mother, mother, wake up. Mother!!!" Fear, sorrow, anger, negative emotions came surging from deep within me. I released a strong magic; I couldn't contain nor control it.

"Ahhhhhhh!!!" Empowered by emotions, a large explosion occurred.

The amount of mana I had used was too much, I blacked out.

That was the first time I had killed.
