'I'll be your friend!'

'Munashi wake up! Munashi wake your sister up too, it's both of your first days at school!' 

Munashi rose from her bed. She caught a glimpse of her mother walking out of her door. She walked to her sister's room thinking about what it's going to be like surrounded by people she doesn't know. Munashi was an emotionless teenage girl, and her mother has never let her be around people she doesn't know or doesn't let her go outside of the gates of her house. 

Munashi reached her younger sister, Namaikina's room. 

'Wake up Namaikina.', said Munashi blankly.

'Good morning sister...' Munashi looked at her. 'You look tired.' Namaikina looked up at her older sister. 'I stayed up late watching BlackPink's new comeback,  Kill This Love... Please don't tell mother!' Munashi Stared at her for a moment, 'Ok, Let's go downstairs for breakfast. It's our first day of HighSchool.' Namaikina looked at her in astonishment. 'I totally forgot! I'll be down in a minute, I'm getting ready first.'

Munashi walked down the stairs into the kitchen, watching her dog chasing her cat.

'Munashi! You finally came! Where's your sister?' 

'She's getting ready.'

'Hmm, That's strange. She usually eats first... Anyways here's your breakfast.

(After both children ate breakfast)

'Munashi, I think you should go get ready.' Munashi walked upstairs into her room. She stared at the wall in the shower still thinking about what it's going to be like not having to be home-schooled anymore. 

After having a shower and getting dressed she walked downstairs, kissed her mother on the cheek goodbye and walked out the front door. 'Munashi, do you ever wonder what it's going to be like in a school?' Munashi looked at her sister then back. 'I've wondered ever since this morning. I never thought about it in general.'

'Well you should be excited then, shouldn't you?'

Right after Namaikina said that Munashi stopped.

'I can't do that.' Her sister stared at her, 'What do you mean?'

'I can't feel anything. There is no emotion inside me.'

'Oh, right. Let's just keep on walking then, haha...'

'Alright, class! As we all know it's our first day back at school term 1! We-'

'Do we have any new students!?'

'Be quiet! I was just about to say that! As I was saying we have a new student, but unfortunately as our class is too big and we have a load of students. We only have one.'

'Awww!' The whole class exclaimed.

'Children let's just be grateful that we have one. Here she is.'

Munashi stepped in, the whole class stared at her. Munashi could tell that some of the boys were disappointed it was a girl. 'So, tell us  about yourself, young lady.'

'My name is Munashi, I'm 15. I have a younger sister called Namaikina and I'm e-'

Munashi thought about what her mother said before she left this morning, 'Don't tell anyone that you're emotionless okay honey?' Munashi stared at her teacher then back. 'And I'm eh...excited.'

'If you're excited, why do you seem so dull?'

The teacher stared at the student and the student looked down onto her desk as if she knew she had done something wrong.

'Alright well then, Munashi go take a seat next to..ah, Kichi is that a spare desk next to you?'

'Yes, sir!'

'Okay, Munashi you can go take a seat next to Kichi just at the back.'

Everyone for a moment was in silence then started yelling 'Ooh!' Some even said to there friends 'She's so stealing my future boyfriend!'

Munashi sat down beside Kichi, 'Class each person shall stand up in order of the roll and introduce yourselves!'

'Airi!' (Eye-Ree)

'My name is Airi, and my name means Love, affection and the flower called Jasmine! So yo-'

'Or pear!' Everyone chuckled then continued on listening to Airi

'So you...can come to me anytime!'

'Hinata!' (He-Nah-Tah)

'Hello! My name is Hinata and I'm really bright on ideas!'

'In-Soo!' (In-Siw)

'Hello, my name is In-Soo and I'm the only Korean girl here... I like BTS and BLACKPINK!'

(After the roll)

Okay, that's everyone. Oh! Look at the time we wasted a lot of it! Class dismissed, it 's lunchtime.' Munashi walked out of her classroom and outside. It was raining. She walked on the pathway. She felt rather dizzy. Munashi collapsed onto the cold wet cement and blacked out.

'Munashi! Munashi are you ok!?'

Munashi opened her eyes, there was a boy sitting in front of her. 'W-where am I?'

'It's ok Munashi, you're in the infirmary. You collapsed outside on the pathway. I found you and took you here. You're with me now. (Nurse is in there too)

'W-who exactly are you?'

'Oh, it's Kichi you're classmate...'

She rolled over and faced the opposite side of the bed she was laying on. 'Nurse! I think she blacked out as well!'

'Hey Munashi, why were you outside in the rain? Were you sad or something?'

Munashi felt Kichi's hand touch her arm then slide off. She thought about what sadness meant and what would happen if she said that she was sad.

'Yeah, I was sad.'

..'Don't worry Munashi! I remember my first day here too! It's ok...'

Munashi was still facing the wall, still opposite of Kichi.

'...I'll be your friend!..'
