☆Chapter 34☆

Taehyung P.O.V.

I get more and more excited as we get closer to the restaurant, and looking out the window I notice that it's a steak restaurant we're going to

Parking in the parking lot I'm blown away at the elegance of the place

"Well this is a bit fancier than usual" I say giggling

"You deserve to be treated to a fancy dinner, my Tae" Jungkook says holding my hand

I smile shyly as we enter the building

"Do you have a reservation?" The host asks

"Yes, reservation for Jeon Jungkook" Kookie says happily

The host nods before leading us to a table

"Your waiter will be right with you" the host says before walking away

I look at Jungkook, smiling

"You seem to be in a good mood" Jungkook says, looking up from his menu at me

"I'm just happy" I say smiling at him

Soon enough the waiter comes and takes our drink orders

After the waiter leaves I look around at the different people around us, every now and then noticing one of them glancing over at us

I suppose people would've heard by now what happened, I just wish they wouldn't try to sneakily look at us... it doesn't hide the fact that they're most likely talking about us

"Do you know what you might want babe?" Jungkook asks, breaking me out of my thoughts

"Hmm, I think I might just get a regular steak" I say looking at the menu

I see that they have a lot of different dishes, most with some form of steak in them, but I feel more like having an actual steak tonight

Jungkook nods in agreement

Not long after, the waiter comes back with our drinks and takes our food order

"So, how is recording coming? I know you and Namjoonie hyung were making a song together" I say sipping my drink

Jungkook smiles "It's actually almost done, we just need to put the voice recording into the background music"

We continue to make casual conversation until our food comes

As we eat we don't really talk a whole lot, not wanting to talk with our mouths full

Every now and then I glance up at Jungkook and see a slightly conflicted face, but then he'll look up and smile

I wonder if he's alright....

"Taehyung" He says getting out of his seat

"Yes?" I ask wondering why he's come to stand in front of me

I turn to face him in my seat

"Taehyung, ever since the moment I laid eyes on you I knew I wanted to be with you. You've supported me throughout everything we've been through, and you've given me the world. All of the love and affection I feel when I'm around you is so meaningful to me. You've been with me through the good times as well as the bad, and I want to continue supporting you. I have loved you for a long time now. I never knew I needed you until I met you, and you mean absolutely everything to me..."

He gets down on one knee

"Kim Taehyung, will you marry me"

As I listened to his speech I could feel tears falling down my face, and I'm left in a moment of shock as I realize what he asked me
