Mark stayed for super he helped Joey and I cook we then set the table and sat down to eat they talked after I was done eating i put my dishes in the dishwasher and sat back down when they were done eating i took there plates we then moved over to the couches Joey and I sat together and mark sat on the other couch Joey had his arm around me and I had my head on this shoulder “so I noticed the ring on Matt's hand so when are you going to get married” mark asked I looked at him and he he said nothing “well I'm going to leave that up to Matt and when he's ready for it then yeah” Joey responded with a small soft smile mark nodded “so what are your plans for you and Ethan” Joey asked him mark smile “I don't know we haven't really talked about it and I never thought about it” mark replied I looked at him “are you guys still close” mark shrugged”we see each other every day and talk with one another” I looked up at Joey “well do you feel a connection with him and does he feel a connection with you” he asked we both looked at mark he shrugged “im not sure to me it feels like we're drifting apart but I do want this to work out I don't want to feel this way I want to rebuild our relationship” mark said as he looked down at his hands “what do you think I can do” Joey and I looked at one another “well have you tried team building you can do it as a couple” I said mark shrugged “do you think Ethan would do it with me” “well we can predict what he's going to say but I you ask him if he wants to try it you'll find the answer” Joey said smile at him then looking down at me I put my hand on his “all you can do is ask him” I continued he smiled at us

time skip

Mark was ready to  go so we said bye I hugged him and patted his back “I'm sure he's going to say yes” we smiled at one another and we both walked out of the house I told Joey I was going to walk him home which he was okay with when we got to the doorstep of his house we Heard rustling in the Bush across the street we looked at one another “what is that” mark asked I turned to look in the direction “I don't know but we should be okay Lenny is in jail” I said “who's Lenny” “he's the one Amanda's dad paid to try to kill me the other two and me are friends but I may have to broken Lenny's nose then he tried to kill Amanda's dad and went to jail that's all I know so far” I explained mark nodded “it still has me on edge” “yeah I know what you mean I'm a little on edge to” we both decided to go look we looked at each other and started walking over when we got close I was tackled and I hit the ground my head hurt I opened my eyes to a Sharp pain in my stomach I then saw mark pulling someone off of me I put my hand on my stomach it was warm and I had a wet feeling I moved m hand to look and saw something there I looked at mark who was punching the person who did this to me the person smacked him he stumble back and I saw none other than Amanda's dad “what are u doing” I said when he attacked me again I kicked him and he fell back mark helped me up but I fell to my hands and knees in pain mark went down to my level he put a hand on my back “ are you okay did you get stabbed”  he asked my eyes went wide and I put my hand on my stomach again mark picked me up he leaned me up against a tree then want back and punched

him again and again when he was out cold he came back over to me “Matt I need your phone” he said I gave it to him and he picked me up he started running he called Joey who picked up the phone

“Hey Matt did you need a ride home” “hey it's mark something happened and Matt got hurt” I said as I was trying to run “what's wrong what happened to sound panicked” Joey ask I could tell he was trying to stay “it's Amanda's dad he went after him” I said with a Shaky breath from running and panic

Time skip

I got to the outside of the hospital and Joey was trying to help me stay calm as he was trying as hard as he could himself I got inside and walked up to the counter “hello” I yelled Matt was limp in y arms I shook him a little bit he slightly opened his eyes and looked at me I tried my best to ring the the bell which I Heard someone start yelling as they got closer “can you just wait” she said when she got out and looked at us she ran up to the counter “we were attached an he was the target I think he got stabbed well I'm pretty sure he did he's bleeding a lot” I said with a Shaky breath she told me to follow her and we started running to emergency room we got him quickly into a bed she told me to try to keep him awake I told her that I would try as she ran to get a doctor Joey called Matt's phone I pick up “we're are you guys” “well we're at the hospital in the emergency room I was told to try to keep him awake she went to get a doctor” I replied while slightly shaking him after a while the doctor got here he asked me to move which I quickly did I left the room and closed the door behind me so they could do what they had to I was sitting in the waiting room when Joey came running in when he saw me he ran up to me “where is he” Joey asked sternly but I could tell he was panicking “there's a doctor with him now just down the hallway” Joey sat down “so it wasn't any of those kids that got him hear in the first place” I shook my head and he sighed “to be honest Matt knows all there names he's friends with two of them the two passive ones pat and Charlie but Lenny the one who actually attacked him is in jail after going after Amanda's dad” I explained as best I could of how matt explained to me “but Amanda's dad is the one who attacked him this time” I nodded and looked down the hall I sat down beside Joey “if you need to go an call Ethan and Amanda and I will call Sarah and Bryan okay” I agreed with him and I walked part way down the hall I got out phone and first called Ethan who picked up “hey mark what's up” “hey Ethan I  just wanted to tell you that Matt's in the hospital and all that” after I told Ethan he started asking questions but I told him I still have to call Anand and when he got here I'd explain what happened to because ambda really needs to know what happened “okay I'll see you soon” “yeah okay ethan” I hung up and called amanda
