"Wake up, lazy butt!" Walter groaned, and slowly sat up, growling angrily as he quickly changed his sleep mask for his regular mask.

Walter looked towards the voice that woke him up, and saw an orange haired girl, with a strange colorful outfit yelling excitedly at a boy in green, with black hair, that had a strip of purple in his hair.

The girl danced around excitedly, "Its morning! Its morning! Its morning! Its morning!"

Walter groaned, feeling bad for the boy, who was probably a friend of the girl, and hoped he didnt have to deal with her all the time.

Now brushing his teeth through another blank mask, this one having a hole that allowed something near his mouth.

His eye twitched, as the girl and boy from earlier are now near him, also getting ready.

"I cant believe we've been at Beacon for a full twenty-four hours! Not that I thought we'd get kicked out or anything, I mean, you're the perfect student and I'm... well, I'm me! But it's just crazy you know?"

'Why are these kids still near me!?' Walter quickly packed his stuff, and shuffled off, trying to get away from the excitable girl as fast as he could.

Walter was eating his food, almost angrily, as the pair of annoyances were still there, he was beginning to think they were following him at this point.

"Right! What was I thinking? But still, I hope we end up on the same team together! Oohhhh! We should come up with some sort of plan, to make sure we end up on the same team together! What if we bribe the headmaster? No, that wont work. He has the school." The girl kept talking, and talking, and talking, and talking.

Walter was shaking slightly, and started eating even quicker before slamming his fork on his plate when he finished.

"What's his problem?"

In the locker rooms, the girl and boy were getting out their weapons, and near them stood Walter, who was shaking violently, and Ryoto, who raised an eyebrow at a practically vibrating Walter.

"I know! We'll have some sort of signal! Like a distress signal! A secret signal so we can find each other in the forest! Can you imitate a sloth?" Ryoto looked away from Walter, to look questionably at the girl, 'A sloth? Why a sloth?'

The boy looked at the girl, and talked for the first time this morning, "Nora?"

Nora looked at her friend, "Yes, Ren?"

Ren pulled out his weapons from his locker, before hiding them in his sleeves, "I dont think sloths make a lot of noise."

Nora stared at Ren for a second in thought, before getting even more excited, "That's why its perfect! No one will suspect we're working together!"

Ren smiled, and shut his locker, "Come on Nora, let's go."

The two walked off, Nora babbling about not being 'together-together' or something.

Walter sighed, and grabbed his weapons, as Ryoto did as well. The two shut their lockers, and walked towards the door outside to the cliff, until Ryoto split off, towards his sensei, who was talking with Ruby and Yang.

"Yep! No more awkward small talk or 'getting-to-know-you' stuff. Today, I get to let my sweetheart do the talking." Ruby took out her weapon, and started to pet it.

Yang looked at Ruby warily, before patting her shoulder, "Well, remember, Ruby, you're not the only one going through initiation. If you wanna grow up, you're gonna have to meet new people and learn to work together."
