The next day, OVRW's dorm had been silent, as its member slept soundly on their beds.

It had just hit 7 in the morning, when an alarm clock went off, waking the team, as they all slowly got up, and looked around.

They could hear the faint sound of a whistle outside, but ignored it, so they could get ready for their first day.

Val had walked to the bathroom first, and the sound of running water quickly followed.

The rest of the team sat around and talked about random topics.

They spent the next hour getting ready, before they left the room to the courtyard.

As they past their fellow teams dorms, they heard the sound of construction tools strangely. They decided to ignore it, and kept going to the courtyard to relax before classes.

Osamu meditated in front of the fountain, which held a statue of a Huntsman and Huntress.

Val held two barbells, working out, even though it looked as if she didnt have to put in any effort.

Ryoto had his box in his lap, staring into space, but in his mind, he was talking with the dragon in the bow.

Walter sat on the edge of the fountain next to Osamu, cleaning his gun with the mountain's water.

They did this until class was almost about to begin. They stood up and made their way to class with their teachers.

In Professor Port's class, RWBY sat in the middle row, while Walter sat in the back, Ren just a little bit below him.

"Monsters! Deeeemons... Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey! Ha-ha!" Port laughed heartily, and smacked the board, filled with drawings of different types of Grimm, with his ruler.

Yang, Blake, and Ren were paying attention, Weiss was taking notes, Ruby was sleeping but was woken by Port's laugh, and Walter... no one can really tell.

"Uhhhh... And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses..." He winked at Yang when she said that, making her groan uncomfortably.  "Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what, you ask? Why, the very world!"

A student raised up from his seat, and shouts his agreements, before looking around and noticing that no one did the same, and everyone was staring at him, making him sit down uncomfortably.

"That is what you are training to become. But first: A story. A tale of a young, handsome man... Me! When I was a boy..."

Walter had somehow started talking to Ren about how to kill different Grimm, he had no idea when the conversation started, or how, but it did. Port's voice faded to a series of mumbles, Walter more interested in the numerous ways Ren had to take down the tougher Grimm.

"...Despite smelling of cabbages, my grandfather was a wise man. 'Peter', he told me..." Walter sat back up when they had run out of Grimm to speak of, and now had to listen to the teachers boring stories again.

"In the end, the Beowulf was no match for my sheer tenacity, and I returned to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero!" Port's story had just ended, and Walter sighed in relief.

"The moral of this story? A true Huntsman must be honorable! A true Huntsman must be dependable! A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise! So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?"
