"Get out! You've done enough!" He shouted at me angrily, though I'm not sure why all I did was talk to his son... Okay, I flirted, but still! It was harmless! I looked around confused, "What in Hades name do you mean? All I did was say one line! One! I didn't bend him over as you do to every woman you see!" I accused. The crowd around us gasped, muttering about nonsense that I honestly didn't care about. Zeus's face became red with anger and embarrassment, "Get out" he growled, "You are hereby banished! FOREVER!!" the crowd gasped again, I looked to my dad from help, but he just looked away stone cold. I shook my head, "Father!" But before I could move towards him, a bolt was thrown at me, hitting me in the chest. I gasped for air, stumbling backward, and falling from the clouds, and before I knew it, I blacked out.
This was just the beginning of my story, it was hard, to hell and back, but it was worth it, for it would change my whole life, forever. Opening my eyes I heard a faint voice, high and soft. I groaned, my head pounding, my vision blurry, and my ears feeling as though they were clogged. My vision slightly got better and I could somewhat make out a small figure above me, an outline of long white hair. The voice of the person became a bit more clear, "Wa....p!" I blinked rapidly, I could finally see who it was, "Adam!" The small woman looked down at me with, large, dark concerned eyes.
"Are you okay?" She asked gently, I nodded slowly, "Yes..." I rubbed my head, "I'm perfectly fine, Momo! Nothing like a drop from the sky to make me feel fresh..." I grumbled, "Damn man whore of a god..." Momo (graciously named by yours truly, I don't know why, but the name felt right) rolled her eyes, standing up, and brushing herself off, even though her beautiful dress wasn't ruined in any way shape or form, "Don't be so pissy, get up, let's head up north and see if we can find a place to bunk!" She cheered determinedly, pointing her tan finger towards her destination. I did the same limping after her as she skipped along the way, I rolled my eyes, 'Such a dork, but then again she's my dork..' I snapped out of my thoughts with her voice yelling out, "Come on Adam! You damn slowpoke! Let's go!!" He chuckled, "I'm injured!"
"Walk it off, you nincompoop!" She continued to skip. I sighed running (not really more like a weird culmination or hopping and skipping) up to her, before I continued to walk, "Alright... Alright, I'm here, happy?" She nodded, "Very!" I shook my head, 'So damn stubborn,' I looked around at the flat plain, "Uh... Momo?" She hummed, "I'm not really seeing anything around here.." she brushed it off, "Pshh! Don't make me laugh, we'll find a place for us to rest alright?" I nodded. She slowed down and muttered, "If it hurts that bad we can stop for now and I can try to patch you up, I am a healer after all," I smiled, "Can we?" We did, sitting down in the middle of nowhere. I hissed when she touched my calf, she stopped and looked up at me before she pulled off her bag from her shoulder, "Does it burn or just hurt? Like a cramp?" I clenched my teeth, "Like a cramp...!" She nodded, pulling out some various herbs, "Nibble on these, it should help," I nodded, taking them from her and thanking her, and did as she said.
For a while it was silent, me and her just sitting there, staring off into space, today's events playing over and over in our heads, I sighed, "I'm sorry I got you in this mess..." She scoffed, "You didn't," she muttered, pausing, "I decided to come with you, I asked to go with you, and no one objected to it... Surprisingly. Although they probably let me because they knew if you came down here alone you'd be absolutely doomed," she smirked smugly. I pushed her lightly, "I would not! I'm not that dumb!"
She looked at me unamusedly, "Okay... Maybe a little dumb?" I put up one hand my fingers close together, smiling nervously. Her expression didn't change, "Okay, I'm very dumb..." She pats my back as I sat dejectedly, "Don't worry, sometimes being dumb is a good thing," I looked over at her once more, "How?"
"People will feel sympathetic with your sheer stupidity," I chuckled lightly, 'This is gonna be one hell of a ride...'
