I had just gotten the call about an hour before. The Tesseract was missing. Who took it? The Director gave me a mere image of the man for me to inspect. He had black hair and wore mainly black, green, and gold. But Director Fury gave me a name that I couldn't well... even imagine. Loki, Norse god of mischief. I couldn't even comprehend his existence. Then again, I am very open minded. So it wasn't impossible for me to process.
I was on the jet with Agent Hill, Captain America, Iron Man, and the enemy, Loki. (Of course the pilot was there, but I don't know his name. I know very few of the agents at S.H.I.E.L.D because I'm not very social. So I only know the ones that I was formally introduced to. Those people are the ones who know my 'nickname'. Only Director Fury, Coulson, and I know my real name.)Loki wasn't paying any form of attention to me, so he probably didn't know I was even here. I finally tuned out of my little world I was daydreaming in to notice a flash of lightning as a storm hit out of no where. "Where did this come from?" Agent Hill and I asked in unison. Captain America and Iron Man glanced to each other then Cap (Short for Captain if you haven't guessed.) looked at Loki who seemed kind of shaken up for some reason. "What's the matter? Are you afraid of a little lightning?" Captain questioned Loki. "I'm not overly fond of what follows." He answered.
As if on cue, we all heard a bang as something heavy landed on the aircraft.Whatever it was, it was shaking the whole thing. Stark put on his helmet and opened the rear hatch. "What are you doing?" Rodgers asked him. Something-um someone jumped on to the platform. The man wore armor, a cape, and had shoulder length flowing blonde hair. Stark tried to approach the man, but he simply hit Stark with a hammer like weapon and sent him flying back. Loki and the stranger just looked at each other. Then the mysterious man just grabbed Loki and flew out."Now there's that guy." Iron Man sighed, picking himself up from the floor. "Another Asgardian?" Agent Hill inquired. "That guy's a friendly?" Rodgers asks ignoring Agent Hill's question. "It doesn't matter. If he frees Loki or kills him, the Tessaract's lost." Iron Man stated while walking towards the opening. "Stark, we need a plan of attack!" Captain commented. "I have a plan. Attack." He replied bluntly. Without thinking, I leaped out after the hostage and his new captor.
"Midnight!" I heard someone cry after me but I just ignore it. I keep falling until someone catches me. It kind of hurt when they caught me. "Okay, next time you decide to jump out of a plane, grab a parachute." I knew that cocky tone anywhere. "Fine." I giggled. "Here's the plan. I'm going to go after the thief and going to set you around where Loki is, and you are going to make sure he doesn't go anywhere. If he does, follow him." I nod understandingly. As we get closer and closer, I get ready to to drop. I hear the man say, "Listen here brother," and that's when Iron Man rams into him and drops me in silence behind the rocks. Loki was just standing there at first and I hear him say,"I'm listening." I try my best to listen for anything he may be up to.
Loki just sat there, watching. Not even trying to escape. When all of a sudden, I saw a blinding blue light and the deafening sound of something like...a bell. (Which was weird because we were in the middle of the woods with no towns even remotely nearby.) "Gah." I mumbled softly while I closed my eyes tightly and covered my ears. I guess Loki heard it though. "Who goes there?" I heard him ask. I see him stand defensively. I slowly rise and come to face the stranger. His brow furrow ever so slightly and his head tilts. "And who might you be?" I remained silent. "Do you not talk?" Loki still eyes her waiting for her to make a move. "I don't think it matters who I am. Just that I have to bring you in." I say in retort. He looks like he's trying to focus.
"Ah, so she does speak." I just look at him while easing my stance. Loki looks like he's figured something out. "So, can you tell me what you go by now?" He asks. I don't know why he cares so much. "Midnight." I tell him. "Yes. I see. That would be your name." The black haired man in armor says calmly. "Excuse me? What are you talking about?" I ask him curiously. He only grins. "Now now.. Wouldn't want to spoil the surprise." "Alright. Whatever. I'm still taking you in." I tell him and place him in cuffs almost a little too easily.
