Walking down a path
Darkness surrounding me
Voices hissing in the air to run
My feet picking up the pace
Leaves crunching underneath my feet
Wooded hands scratching and clawing at my legs, my face, my arms
The winds snarl for me to run away
My knees buckle, tree roots wrapping around my ankles
Dragging me,
Trying to get the earth to swallow me whole
Laughter and screams fill my ears
Clawing at the earth, hands covered in mud, nails coated with dirt, mud mixing with blood
Like quicksand the earth was up to my neck, trying to take he breath of life out of my lungs
My eyes blurry, breath ragged, I see two figures in the shadows watching the merciless struggle before their eyes
With a mud blood face, tears streaked down my face
The confused boy stayed mute although his eyes screamed out for help
The women in black with blood red eyes poured through my soul
The wicked death breath whispered in my mind
"Say Goodbye"
She looked down at the trembling boy before her gleaming her shark like pointed teeth
The boy looked in my eyes with desperation
Then he spoke

"Help me"

I struggled trying to save him but with no success
Laughter filled the air before the earth swallowed me whole taking my soul
