Chloe comes to visit and what has happened to Anubi?

I was spending time with Chloe and at the moment, we were watching a movie making jokes about things that we thought were funny. Chloe and I have been best friends since the very day of primary school and have always been together. We were like two peas in a pod and nothing could separate us. Well, except for one thing . . .

Chloe: Cleo, I've been needing to tell you something

Cleo: Sure thing, what is it?

Chloe: Is it normal to have regular dreams of a guy you see in your dreams and have a thing for him?

Cleo: Depends on what the guy looks like. Perhaps I know of him, would you like to draw him out for me?

She grabbed my sketchbook and pencil and flipped to a fresh page. I watched her sketch the face, hair and shoulders. The sketch was starting to look familiar. When she finished, I saw that it was a sketch of Dale. I stared at the sketch in bewilderment and had to sit up properly to even think straight.

Chloe: Is there something wrong?

Cleo: It's just . . . the sketch . . . I can't

Chloe: What about it?

Cleo: It reminds me of a kid I know, did you want to meet him?

Chloe: I don't . . . know

Cleo: Trust me, he's a lovely person and I'm sure you'll both hit it off. And besides, I've got his number.

I called him and avoided Chloe each time she tried to tackle me. Once that was settled with Dale, I hung up the phone and told Chloe that it would just be a hang-out between me, Anu and the rest of my new friends here.

Cleo: Thanks for coming, guys

Leo: No problems, Cleo

Cleo: Guys, I'd like to introduce my friend Chloe. She's one of my oldest friends and is staying with me for a few days. Chloe, this is Leo, Kay, Bernie, Dale and Professor Kirby. You've met Anu already so I don't have introduce the both of you, anyways, let's go to the arcade

The group: Whoop, Whoop!

We arrived at the arcade and I found a game for Chloe and myself to do. I dragged her over to the game and we started. It a dance game and Chloe was giving me something to be desired when it came to dancing.

She and I were at neck-and-neck for most of the game and when it came to do freestyle for the next part, let's just say she won by margin of a thousand points. I was puffed and might I say a little winded, however, I did enjoy it nonetheless.

Chloe: Good game, Cleo

Cleo: Same here, Chloe

Chloe: Why is your bracelet glowing?

I notice the bracelet and cover it up. I notice Leo and he's doing the same thing. We give each other a subtle nod and told Chloe that she and the others could find something else to do while I went to go and deal with the bracelet.

Leo, Ramses and Anubi followed suit behind me and when we found a quiet and safe place in the mall, we went straight to Egyxos. I found myself with Anubi in a strange part of No Man's Land and I couldn't see Ramses or Leo anywhere.

Cleo: I can't see Leo or Ramses anywhere. Perhaps their already at the Golden City

Anubi: Perhaps, let's start making our way there now

Cleo: How? Not to mention, I have no idea of which way to go

Anubi: Good point, I have no idea of which way to go either
